From the very first sentence that had "blurry eyes" where it should be "bleary eyes," this one is noticeably not as well edited as I expect from Patricia Rice. There were also a few things repeated so many times throughout, that at one point I literally said out loud, "I get it already!"So this one didn't hold my attention nearly as well as the first, nor as well as her books usually do. Still, that's like saying this chocolate truffle isn't as good as the others in the box; it's still chocolate.
