Lonesome Lily turned Scandalous Siren
Miss Lillian Hargrove has lived much of her life alone in a gilded cage, longing for love and companionship. When an artist offers her pretty promises and begs her to pose for a scandalous portrait, Lily doesn’t hesitate . . . until the lying libertine leaves her in disgrace. With the painting now public, Lily has no choice but to turn to the one man who might save her from ruin.
Highland Devil turned Halfhearted Duke
The Duke of Warnick loathes all things English, none more so than the aristocracy. It does not matter that the imposing Scotsman has inherited one of the most venerable dukedoms in Britain—he wants nothing to do with it, especially when he discovers that the unwanted title comes with a troublesome ward, one who is far too old and far too beautiful to be his problem.
Tartan Comes to Town
Warnick arrives in London with a single goal: get the chit married and see her become someone else’s problem, then return to a normal, quiet life in Scotland. It’s the perfect plan, until Lily declares she’ll only marry for love . . . and the Scot finds that there is one thing in England he likes far too much . . .

Our Review

Let's start off by saying this has been a really fun series to read so far.I just loved this story it has filled with scandal, humor, romance and a hot hunky Scot and a fierce beautiful temptation for you to enjoy. I could not wait to see what would come out of Lillie's mouth next.I just loved Lilly's loyal friends they added that touch of humor that every book needs.

I love it when a character such as Lily who owns up and takes full responsibility for her action's leading to her own ruination.I alway seek out to find a  favorite character in a story to rave about and my pick is Lily for this story.

I loved everything about Lily she was firey, fierce, loyal, and beautiful on the inside and on the out. What a spitfire Lily turned out to be.Lily never let that tall dark bruting Scot best her!

I just love how the lovely Lily went toe to toe with her Duke.Lily's encounters with Alec always put a smile on my face.I looked forward to those encounters as you never new what mischief she would brew up next.

From the very beginning of this story you new that Alec and Lily's relationship would be utter turmoil. As prideful and fierce as Lily was she was touched by sadness and loneliness. Her main goal is to find love and happiness in her marriage and not duty.Lily only wants to marry for love. Alec on the other hand let a troubled childhood cloud his judgment when dealing with Lily from the very beginning.Alec's good intentions to help Lily also seemed to go a rhy always.I believe he truly wanted what was best for her but jealousy and protectiveness always got in the was of those so called good intentions.

As the story starts to unfold you realize that Lily is just what this wounded Duke needs.Alec needs someone to shake him up and Lily is just that right person to do it.Alex needs to let go of his past in order to have the future he so craves in order to find love and happiness for himself.

From the very beginning of this story I was rooting for Lily to find the happiness she deserved.Overall this was an enjoyable read that had great character's.These character's took you on a journey to find love and happiness as well as forgiveness which I was glad to have followed there journey with them.Does love conquer all in even in scandal?

Looking forward to the next story in this series.I can't believe we have to wait until the Summer of 2017 to read Seraphina's story.(Bevingstokes Duchess of Haven)

A recommended read to all .We are giving Lily's and Alec's story 5 stars. What a fun enjoyable read.

The Murrays are back in this thrilling new tale from New York Times bestselling author Hannah Howell . . .

Responsible for protecting her younger siblings from their abusive father, Bethoc Matheson is in no position to rescue another soul in Scotland. Yet when she sees a bleeding man on the verge of drowning, that’s exactly what she does, securing him safely in a cave where she can return day after day to tend to his wounds.

Sir Callum MacMillan can scarcely believe such a slight lass as Bethoc could save him from the grasp of death. But he knows the telltale marks of an angry fist on her skin, and he knows she has the soul of a fighter within her feminine frame. Raised to be a protector of the weak by his Murray clansman, Callum would prefer to be the one saving her—and save her, he will. If he can first survive the treacherous attack that led him into her irresistible arms . . .

Praise for Hannah Howell and her Highland novels…

Our Review

First let me start if by saying that I just love Hannah's novels and she is on my auto buy list regardless what stories she writes.I have been reading  her novels for at least 25 years or more now and will continue reading her works as long as she is writing stories.

As always I enjoy reading about all those hunky highlanders.I have followed and read all about that delightful Murray family so any hint of them being in any current novel I am in.

This was a delightful read.I just love all the good characters.I thought that the two main characters Bethoc and the Laird had a great chemistry together. The plot of this story is not very involved with a lot of twists and turns but has enough going on to keep your interest.I love a novel when they have a tortured hero but in this story each main character can really relate to each other as they share a similar past.

I always have a favorite character to favor and in this story I would have to choose Bethoc. Why ? She just is an amazing person on the inside as well as out. With Bethoc growing up in an abusive household it would have you thinking that she would have been a hardened distant cold person but she was just the complete opposite. Bethoc had a big loving heart and a wealth of understanding for those all around her.I just love reading about her especially when she was giving herself a pep talk every time she starts to feel sorry for herself had me laughing out loud.

Bethoc was the perfect person to heal the heart of her wounded warrior. She was like sunshine to his darkness.Meeting Laird MacMillain was the best thing for both of these characters. It felt like fate stepped in to bring each of them into each other's lives for a very specific purpose.

If your looking for an enjoyable light read this story is for you.The story has two plots that need solving. It could be that we will be seeing one of these characters in a future book as there is a question to whether her talent lies along those lines of those in the Murray clan or has just been born with a precious gift.

I look forward to the next novels in this series.I just love reading books in series and following characters book to book especially when new characters are introduced. The Murray Family have been a blast to read about including there friends and family.

I found all the characters in this story to be enjoyable as well as like-able.My heart strings tugged for both the main characters as well as the other characters as they all had a sadness to them as well as pain and suffering . I loved the unfolding of the story as plots that were solved and the secrets that came to light.I loved seeing this couple slowly fall in love even if some of them didn't even realize they had fallen in love  at all and that love healed a very emotionally wounded warriors heart.

REVIEW
Grant and his new mate Shelly have landed in Scotland heading to his pack land. Scotty his best friend is now his Beta. Not all are thrilled to meet Grant’s new mate including his awful father. Shelly tries to see the good in all so when she is duped into thinking one of Grant’s long time friends Nancy is her friend well it could mean her life or someone’s death. What a fantastic continuous of this series. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us next.
I love this shifter series and I enjoy how the author continues with where things leaves us in the previous stories.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

REVIEW
Everyone is excited as more wolves will be joining the Wild Flower pack. They are highlander wolves who are giving up Scotland for the USA mountains. Cam the Alpha is shocked to learn his brother Grant is going to be among those coming. Although Grant is Alpha to his own pack he has come to offer his services to his brother. While there Grant smells and feels something he has never felt before. But that feeling will bring him heartache as it will hurt his best friend.

Everyone is gathering for a big feast, welcome party and bonding ceremonies that’s right not just 1 but 3.
Rebecca has offered help to Angela for her mate but will her mate Fergus accept that help?

The book leaves us one with big cliffhanger but aside from that this book was fantastic and flows very smoothly picking up where book 2 left us. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

REVIEW

Chastity has still not awoken and Cam has no idea what to do. He uses his magic and senses something dark inside her. Many of the pack are finding mates and Cam is trying to run from his.
When Chastity finally awakens Cam learns that her nephew is even worse than her brother. He is a murderous fiend who needs to be put to death. Once the sorcerer and nephew are dealt with the pack work together to get things back to some what normal.

Cam can no longer hide what he knows to be truth about himself and Chastity.

I love how the author brings characters from book 1 over into book 2 so the story flows with no interruptions. I can’t wait until the next book and look forward to all the new wolves coming up to help.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.
