Shakespeare meets Star Wars and it's brilliant
William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, a New Hope - Ian Doescher

No review can give justice to this brilliant book. Do yourself a favor and buy it and/or get it from the library. Give it as a gift and the receiver will love you forever.

The last two stanzas:

There let our heroes rest free from attack,

Till darkness rise and the Empire striketh back.

I cannot wait.

C-3PO A droid hath sadness, and hopes, and fears,
And each of these emotions I have felt
Since Master Luke appear'd and made me his.

quote 2013-10-11 16:32
HAN To march to the detention block's unwise!
To make our way to danger folly 'tis!
To there present ourselves is passing mad!
To boldly go where none hath gone is wild!

LUKE Hast thou no heart? She sentenc'd is to die!

HAN My sentence is: 'tis better she than I.

HAN [within:] Pray, may we have thy good assistance here?

GUARD 1 [to Guard 2:] So, let us go together, friend. Good cheer!

[Guards 1 and 2 enter ship and are killed. Exeunt others.]

(After Han shoots Greedo)

Han: [To inkeeper:] Pray, goodly Sir, forgive me for the mess.

[Aside:] And whether I shot first, I'll ne'er confess!
