Rewind by Jeremy Bates
Rewind - Jeremy Bates

Rewind by Jeremy Bates is a horrifying mystery book. An unnamed protagonist woke in a dilapidated slum apartment with a dead body in the next room. His own identity is a mystery. He has to unravel who is is and how he got there. His Driver's License revealed his name as Harry Parker. He doesn't recognize his own voice or handwriting. I gave it four stars because it was a fast, intriguing book to read.

"Why had I been in that chair, in that apartment, hooked up to that machine? Had I been a guinea pig in some madcap experiment, and something went terribly wrong, something along the lines of accidentally pressing the delete key in a word-processing document, or formatting a computer hard drive? Then again, maybe I had known something important, perhaps some government or industrial secret, and someone had wanted it badly enough to take it from my head with all the finesse and compassion that one uses when removing a hook from a fish that had swallowed the hook to the gills?"

He remembered his PIN number right before he went to an ATM machine where he claimed $50.00. Then he was shocked at a massive balance. He started to get $500.00, then changed the number to $5,000.00. "It spat out the money just as dutifully as before." This information didn't seem accurate. In my personal experience, the standard daily cash withdrawal limit for ATM and Debit Cards is $400 per day.

I received a complimentary copy from the author. That did not change my opinion for this review.

Review: Neighbors by Jeremy Bates
Neighbors - Jeremy Bates

I received this book to give an honest review.

I have to say though this story is short it packs quite a punch. We are introduced to Buddy who lives in an apartment complex with this mother and who is a writer though never published. When his next door neighbor moves in and offers him beer and pizza he makes an excuse up. He rather just be alone. So when his day goes to hell that is what starts this adventure with Buddy and it does not end pretty at all. Though he has a story he can write so there is always that.

It honestly was a short and to the point story, Buddy though we learn just a little about him is chilling and makes you never want to have a neighbor like him.

Devil's Breath - Greg F. Gifune

I Happily received this book from Netgalley and DarkFuse For an honest review.

I had a feeling about this book from the moment I saw the cover. I've seen other book's That Greg F.Gifune has written but this was my second ever book I've had the pleasure to read of his. I was just MINDBLOWN with this plot. even after reading "The Rain Dancer's" I'm sitting here trying to find the words to tell you guys how fantastic this book is! For me personally it hit all the marks of a Suspense horror for the duration of this book. I was on the edge of my seat! I kid you not! I love a Plot that makes you think while reading the book.. And best of all after reading the book. Greg totally has done this to me I even researched some of the key factors in this book! that's how much it got me thinking. also the way the characters  had depth to there personality's too. I liked that!

So a bit about the plot without giving it away.

We meet Stan Falk. Now Stan is a man getting by how he can.. Stan has secrets like we all do, But his secrets and world is about to be thrown apart... He was on the verge of suicide before the knock on the door came.

The tension in this book was as thin as a violin string I felt it was going break at any point!

All in all a Excellent read and highly Highly recommended read. Greg F.Gifune i salute  you.
