Morning Snowy Walk

Task the First:  The Winter Wonderland:

- If you are lucky enough to live in a snowy place, or even if you aren't, take a walk outside and post a picture of something pretty you encountered on your way!

We didn't come across anything out of the norm pretty, just general great atmosphere. However, I thought I better do this task while there was snow on the ground, it wasn't too cold for me, and we had the time. I'll be sure to bring my phone on any other snowy walks we get to take :)

Don't venture beyond the cover
Starry Night: A Christmas Novel - Debbie Macomber

1.5 stars

Read this for 12 Tasks of the Festive Season:

Task the First: The Winter Wonderland:
- Read a book that is set in a snowy place.

I think I sub-consciously rounded up because of how gorgeous the cover is. The hero and heroine spend around 96hrs together, 48 of that is contentious. I have no earthly idea when they fall in love, she leaves Alaska and suddenly he is texting her and they're in a relationship. Hero has serious women hating issues, as in hating ALL women. His mother and father got divorced when he was young and his father wouldn't let his mother take him 50% and then hero had one bad romantic relationship. The women hating was over-the-top and not attractive in the least. Heroine was a rude buttiniski.
There was no romance in this to speak of.
I liked the dog.
Fin.

I'm not really liking this women hating hero.

Plus, they're in a relationship?! I feel like I missed something. :/

Reading Update: Page 1
Starry Night: A Christmas Novel - Debbie Macomber

Task the First: The Winter Wonderland:

- Read a book that is set in a snowy place.

This holiday story takes place in Alaska, my go to thought for a snowy place :)

Like with Halloween Bingo I'm going to try and not do re-reads and y'all, my holiday novella/anthology collection is embarrassing but I don't want to do all short stories for this, so I'm going to search for full length novels first.

I'm going to try to do all the tasks (oh yes, I remember how I didn't even get a bingo) but they'll probably be out of order.

Can't wait to see everyone's post for this!
