The Bad Boy's Baby (Hope Springs #3) by Cindi Madsen
The Bad Boy's Baby - Cindi Madsen

syns

There are certain words that have always described Cam Brantley: Town bad boy. Soldier. Protector. But never, ever dad. Until he returns home from his latest military tour to discover the girl he had one smoking-hot night with is now mom to the adorable two-year-old Zoey. Who has his eyes.

Plenty of words could describe Emma Walker these days. Mom, dutiful granddaughter, budding designer, the town’s golden child. But when her longtime crush Cam Brantley comes back to town, she knows the perfect word to describe herself: screwed.

Cam and Emma are both shocked to discover he truly wants Zoey in his life. But Cam’s not sure he’s ready to be a dad, and Emma can’t gamble her daughter on maybes. As the long-simmering heat between Cam and Emma reaches a boiling point, he’ll have to work past his demons in order to be the man both girls need.

Daddy duty might be his toughest mission yet…

my though

Being fan of Cindi Madsen and having read the last two Hope Springs book it was a no brainer to read this book. I just love all her books. They always nicely balanced, great characters and a nice HEA for all of them. This book was no different. But I must say when I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure how much I would like it, given that Emma had Cam’s baby and never told him until now. But it all made sense in a way and it fit nicely, it wasn’t forced or anything. It all seemed to come a long very natural. I loved how Cam was spending time with Zoey and how he got to know her and her little quirks, again it all seemed pretty natural. I also loved that Cam admitted that it probably would have gone wrong the other way of he had known from the beginning. I might seems to some as an easy out that she didn’t tell him , but it really fit into the story and most of all everything we know about Cam. Another thing I liked was that Zoey got plenty of page time and was not pushed into the background of the story. This book had a bit more smexy times than the other two Hope Springs books, but that was more than okay with me.

Overall, another great book by Cindi Madsen that I really enjoyed, at times it seemed a bit slower than some other books but overall it had a great flow to it and I loved it . I rate it 4 ★

Baby-Sitters Club #59: MALLORY HATES BOYS (AND GYM)
Baby-Sitters Club #59: MALLORY HATES BOYS (AND GYM) - Ann M. Martin Fantastic books for young girls getting into reading!! Great stories about friendship and life lessons. The characters deal with all sorts of situations and often find responsible solutions to problems.

I loved this series growing up and wanted to start my own babysitting business with friends. Great lessons in entrepreneurship for tweens.

The books may be dated with out references to modern technology but the story stands and lessons are still relevant.

Awesome books that girls will love! And the series grows with them! Terrific Author!

Three Boys and a Baby - Laura Marie Altom I liked it, but it was a little annoying to read how Jackson couldn't make his mind.

Mallory Hates Boys and Gym (Baby-Sitters Club, 59) - Ann M. Martin Mallory is behaving extremely immature in this book, and there's surprisingly little babysitting going on.

Mary Anne and Too Many Boys (The Baby-Sitters Club, #34) - Ann M. Martin I like the books set in Sea City, but I must say that these kids have more dates than any 13-year-olds I've ever encountered. And my dates at that age did not include going to a fancy restaurant!
