Be still my beating heart. Trace and Eva found destiny when they weren't even looking. Release paints a sweet picture of what love should be. Despite life's ugliness and fate's heartaches, two lost souls collide at the right time. Scott continues to give the heart what it wants. A wild ride that's not always beautiful, but worth the uphill climb.
When your world falls apart, it's your heart that points you in the right direction. Many times I have heard it said "you can't judge a book by it's cover, Player proves those words right. Scott uses her talent to enlighten, inspire and surprise. Sebastian and Paige have a depth that goes way beyond attraction. Both are running away from painful memories, hoping to survive the fallout. Sebastian is the Walker brother that everybody tends to underestimate. The party boy has matured and is working to live down his past. Paige is a woman with a secret in her past that has shaped her present. Neither Paige nor Sebastian are what they seem. For out of the ashes of heartache, comes a love worth fighting for.
Neither character is what they seem. Each has their own cross to bear when it comes to matters of the heart. Ms. Adams is a master of disguises. Laura is a woman on the run. While Derek is a man waiting for that special someone. Make Me Forget blends intriging mystery with charming romance. A breathless dance of chance and romance.
This is book # 4 in the Alluring Indulgence series. This book is a summary of Holiday fun and such from the family and their significant others. It is best to be read in order for full understanding since it is based on the characters that have been presented in the series books.
In this book we catch all the characters and their holiday hijinx. We see foreshadowing for the books to come, as well as some family get together's and shopping. These characters are such a hoot!
The most difficult thing for me was that this book has a focus so wide that it is hard to place who I wanted to read about. It is a good story about a loving family at the holidays, however. I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
