Archeological Artifacts – Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day @Alyssa_Day
Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon) - Alyssa Day

Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day is the third story in the Warriors of Poseiden series and all I can say is…this is the best one yet!

Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon, #3)

Amazon / Audiobook / Goodreads

MY REVIEW

The first chapter covers the end of Book II, Atlantis Awakening, so you could begin the series here, but you would have missed so much of the goodness, I recommend beginning with Book I, Atlantis Rising.

Ever since Keely had touched the wooden fish placed around her neck, she could see him…her blue haired warrior.

Who is she…the face Lord Justice keeps seeing?

I am lovin’ these fabulous love stories filled with magic and wonder. Each set of characters are unique in their own way, with secrets to be revealed. I love the feistiness of the female protagonists and their male warriors can TRY to control them all they want.

It was so funny when Brennan met Tiernan. Laughing through some very funny situations. I do like to enjoy my danger and torment.

Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon) - Alyssa Day

He made the ultimate sacrifice and paid with unimaginable torture, now Lord Justice is back but his sanity is shaken and his mission inescapable. With ancient archaeological artifacts sharing visions of life long ago. Dr. Keely McDermott is cast into a world between past and present, between reality and illusion. As their two worlds collide, so too will danger and desire… as evil threatens to destroy them both.

The third book in the ‘Warriors of Poseidon’ series is a stunning, non-stop excitement read that holds readers in its thrall from beginning to end. These strong, brilliant character wow readers with their sizzling chemistry and their powerful auras with a sweet, emotionally gripping romance and zest for life that really speaks to the readers. The relationship is in no way simple in fact it is quite complicated as Lord Justice’s sanity is threatened by his splintered psyche.

The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout with lots thrilling suspense, energetic and magical battles and surprising twists that get the adrenaline pumping, making it hard for readers to sit still but yet unable to takes their eyes from the pages. Oh, and let’s not forget the added amazement of the appearance of a god in all his spectacularly powerful glory. The vampires and shifter in this series continue to be evil, vile and spine chillingly deadly as they continue to plague the warriors and humans alike which gives readers a generous helping of bad of guys to wish horrible things upon, another words this romance invokes powerful emotions in readers and ensure that they have a very enjoyable reading experience.

Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon) - Alyssa Day

This is the second time reading this one and I think that might have influenced my very slow read of it.  Some parts were too slow and the duality of Justice was a bit weird.  I love the series, but I think this is my least favorite in the series.  He sacrificed himself to protect his brother Ven and Ven’s mate, in Atlantis Awakening and was Anubisa’s prisoner for months.  When he finally gets free, he isn’t the same, his Neried half has come forth and now he has two voices in his head, his and the Neried's.  Both Justice and Keely have had visions of each other, so when they set eyes on each other for the first time, Justice claims her immediately and she thinks he is crazy.  There were no surprises and I guess that is what kept me putting it down instead of continuing to read it. It is also the end of the school year, so things are crazy. I love the series and I am enjoying re-reading them, but this one was a bit hard to keep up with. I do look forward to reading more and if you haven't read the series at all, please do so.  It has stuck with me since I read it the first time and is one of my all time favorite series, which is why I am reading the whole series again. :-)

Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon)
Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon) - Alyssa Day Keely McDemott is a lover of history, and is a archaeologist. Keely is also a object reader and has to be very careful what she lets herself touch, especially if a object has too much violence and history attached to it. Her parents have always considered her a bit crazy, but Keely knows that she can use her gift to help. When a stranger approaches her to go to a distant place with enough archaeological finds to satisfy every appetite. So she reluctantly agrees to go to this "Atlantis", even though she doubts its true existence. Lord Justice has sacrificed himself to a evil goddess, to save his brothers. When he manages to barely escape her realm "the void", and making it safely back to Atlantis, the moment he sees Keely both sides of himself claims her for his own. All he knows is that she is "His" and none other. Justice is half Nereid, and half prince, and has kept that secret until now. When they learn of the location of a certain jewel that is from Poseidon's Trident, both Justice and Keely go in search of it. What they encounter is danger and a flaming passion and a love to encompass them both.

Atlantis Unleashed is the third installment in the Warriors of Poseidon series that Alyssa Day has created. So far I have read the first three books in audio format and what a thrilling ride. I have been loving listening to these audio books, and Atlantis Unleashed is a personal favorite. The narrator was very talented and even though I do get a bit picky about male narrators at times, I felt like the narrator for this book did a outstanding job. It can be hard to find one you really like and can stand listening to. However I felt like he portrayed the story in its truest form.

The story instantly picks up from the last book, where there was a cliffhanger with Justice giving himself up. We start to see the strength and endurance that Justice has. Justice hasn't had a easy living ever since he was born. Justice has had struggles, and we see that he has two sides of himself, and tries to put his darker half under the rug. But when he meets Keely, all bets are off. Justice has never had a harder time controlling the Nereid, but Keely doesn't fear any part of him, she starts to fully accept him. Keely is thrust into a world of danger and a man who stirs her blood and calls to the deepest part of her. At first Keely doesn't want to admit her feelings for this magnificent man, however as they both are going on a mission to find a certain jewel, "The Star of Artemis", she starts to accept Justice and accept who he is and that he is a part of her future.

There is quite a bit of factors involved in this story, but Justice and Keely are the main attraction, and what a circus of adventures, thrills and a beautiful love story. I would have to say it might be my favorite one so far from this series. Its really hard to say which book I love the most so far, but Atlantis Unleashed was full on emotion and sensation and never let up. From beginning to end I was fully enthralled by this love story and all that factors involved in getting this couple their HEA. ASTOUNDING AND RIVETING!! It will blow your minds!!
