Review: This Gun For Hire by Jo Goodman
This Gun for Hire - Jo Goodman

I am still having the lingering after-effects of a book hangover with this book. I loved the hero and heroine, whose romance was filled with witty banter and a reserved but sizzling undertone chemistry that carries throughout the book. Jo Goodman is a fabulous author who has a great grasp and use of dialogue and likeable characters. But I think she threw the ball out of the ballpark with this one.

Although the romance was slow burn, and other than the beginning and ending, which was action packed, I highly enjoyed this book!

I also did a joint review with Lou - here at The Book Pushers.

On Dublin Street - Samantha Young

I haven't read any of Samantha Young's YA fiction so I was a bit hesitant to read this one despite all the great reviews because it's her first one outside the YA genre. I'm so glad I finally gave in!!!

Loved this book!!! On Dublin Street is on my top five list for 2012! The witty banter between not just the hero and heroine but all the secondary characters are top-notch! The characters are likable and convincing while the story is hot, sexy and emotional with serious depth to boot! I could go on and on, so I'll just say READ IT!
