I noticed she received a new review mentioning the negative review. Briggs comes at publishing from an amateur pov and it shows.

Three, glad to hear Amazon is cleaning up the mess. :)
Poor Athelissa. You see she posted that false story attacking Sammy and indiereader because a mean troll made her. Makes sense, right?

It's not like she could have asked people in her private groups to check out the story before she posted it. No. Best to make accusations then have your sheep call you out.

I checked out Sammy to see why she was targeted. She has none of Melissa books on her shelf, but Sammy did give a one star rating to Carla J. Hanna. This is the same author Athelissa claimed was unfairly attacked by me last spring/summer (can't remember just when). Hanna and her socks/trolls attacked negative reviews on GR and Amazon. Since then, Hanna seems to have kept her head down. She doesn't belong to WIN or seem tied to F&G.

I don't know why Athelissa went after Sammy. It's possible she gave a three star rating to a book Melissa loved or a five star review with a line of criticism to a book Athena thinks is flawless. With STGRB, anything is possible.

I'm just thrilled her buddies shut down the lie so quickly. :)

I posted on the BBA thread that your review was suffering from downvoting.

I also mentioned people might want to read Richard P. Under the comments. He seems to be using someone else's script. - you know troll, bully, etc.
To whoever asked about Larry Correia:

Basically said that sci-fi novels should be "fun" and without a feminist agenda, or something along those lines.

Details here, but they're probably via biased in his favour: http://larrycorreia.wordpress.com/

I vaguely remember there being whiney blog posts about reviewers and then she declared she was quitting because of all the mean reviews that she had got. Of course her retirement was about as long as most young Hollywood's retirement. I found a few links:

Here's one to that gives information about the initial meltdown: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/208596859

Here's a link to Kat's blog that talks about the "retirement": http://cuddlebuggery.com/blog/2012/04/02/buzz-worthy-news-april-2-2012/
All I had to do was go to his blog. It took about 30 seconds to realize this guy was hitting all my buttons.

As to Cyn Balog, I don't remember her blog exactly, but in essence, is was about tone and how reviewers should think of the author's feelings when writing reviews, because they are just crazy sensitive artistes!

I do think she realized her mistake, and came out against STGRB when they tried to paint her as a victim of the "bullies".
I'd say go for it. She seemed apologetic and I think she just realized it was best to avoid reading her own reviews. She has been quiet since.

Cyn Balog put her foot in it, but she did make amends and apologise and come out of retirement because she realised it's a waste of energy to be butthurt when she could be doing what she loves, which is writing.

She's good in my books.
Glad to hear about the repenting, I was unaware of that. I might move her stuff to my probation list now.
My guess is that when she looks in the mirror she sees just what she wants to see, never mind that it's not reality.
Looks like "Mike" was Michael Dispuke. Once again, the STGRB sheep attack a review.

It was brought to our attention Athelissa didn't remove Jane Litte's last name during her last clean up. We're collecting links to send Bluehost. Please, let us know if you notice any other violations on STGRB, so we can report them. Thanks.
Athelissa and her asshole site has a new fan: BR Kingsolver

This author wrote a blog a few years ago at the beginning of the F&G bullshit where she complains that they (butthurt authors) were making it difficult for her (a new indie author) to find reviewers. I guess she changed her tune once she received one or two one stars. Suddenly, readers are the enemy. What's sad is that the blog post is still up.
