I also came to BL during the 2013 GR disaster.
I will be participating in the Halloween Bingo, as well as the Ammie, Come Home and Hound of the Baskervilles buddy reads. I had tons of fun with the summer book bingo, even if I wasn't quite able to black out the card.
Looking forward to getting started!
I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone is reading. :D
Hey, i didn't joined the summer bingo, but it looked like fun, so i'll take part on halloween.
I prefer fantasy, ya, romance, but also thriller and stuff like that. I hope i can find enough books that will match :) Oh and i only read german books :)

Great. I'm sure you'll find plenty of books to fill the card (and more....). It's going to be great fun.

Btw, OB, your temporary Bruegel avi is brilliant.
I had fun reading the posts from the previous Bingo, so I have to join this one:-) Plus the categories are very interesting.
Came over to Booklikes too after the Goodreads issues (deleting shelves, reviews- I was never effected, but wanted a secondary place to keep everything). I've found I really like this format (blog).
Hello all! I've actually been lurking and browsing and just liking stuff lately, so I'm typically more absent than not. But I'm really excited about the Halloween Bingo and after going through the categories, I realized that I'm going to be going outside of my comfort zone for certain squares, so this will be an interesting experience. I've made a short list of some books that might fit certain categories, but I have a feeling I won't be going for blackout or any prize winning rows. I'm probably just going to read and see what fits and have fun with it.
My first Book Bingo!
I couldn't resist the Halloween theme.
I followed Moonlight Reader and a co-moderator from the Amazon forums to GoodReads then to here.
(hmmm...that makes me sound like a flake. : ) )
I did the Summer bingo card and I thought doing a Fall/Halloween bingo card would be a fun way to keep reading down my TBR pile. I am not one for gruesome or horror, but I got more than enough paranormal and mystery books to keep me in the game.

I'm having a similar plan of trying to fit in as many of my Mt. TBR books as I can.
Hello! I'm Stephanie and I've been on booklikes for a few years now. I read just about anything, but my favorite genre is Historical Fiction. I am looking forward to the Halloween Bingo card since I have a stack of Halloweenish and horror books on my shelf waiting to be read!
I'm so excited that we have so much interest in this round of bingo! I think it is going to be a blast!
I expect more fun than success, as this is my first bingo, plus I have to fit my reading around the (Go Rangers!) baseball schedule. I had already promised myself that I would whittle down TBR by prioritizing already-acquired books and not buying new ones for a while, so I'm going to plan to fill the bingo card from what I already have available. Lucky me, though, I love magical, supernatural, and horror themes, so I have plenty to choose from.
Dropping in to say hi and to clear up something I'm a little confused about. This is 'Halloween' themed but runs for all of autumn, right? So we start September 1st and finish November 30? Is that right? So I have to try to read 25 books over three months?
