I want to welcome everyone to this group! Introduce yourself here, and feel free to jump into whatever bingo card we're currently playing! If the current game doesn't interest you, stick around anyway, and you might like whatever we decide to do next!
The best way to join is to follow me and Obsidian Blue and say hi on our blogs. You'll be sure to see all of the posts related to the current game.
I've been on Booklikes since approximately 2013, when I came over with the great Goodreads emigration. My reading is very dependent on my mood, and I enjoy pretty much everything except erotica, true crime and memoir.
*waves*
Also a GoodReads refugee, read a bit of everything with a preference for Spec Fic and an occasional weakness for trashy romance. Also a bunch of reads dictated by the book clubs I run for my library.
I went a step further and got booted by GR for... vague reasons and people reporting me because they didn't like me calling them out for their bullshit and/or writing truly honest reviews.
I can't remember when I came onto BL, but I've been here for a while.
I read mostly comics, or anything with robots/AI in it right now. I'm 100% into robots and AI.

I'll admit, I use this site way more than I ever did GR - even when I joined a book club that I took part in, so I was never active enough to really make anyone take notice. For some reason it's never pulled me in beyond wikipedia equivalent book review research. The social aspect here has been a lot more natural.

I've got to admit I love it here!
I was brutally honest and people could not take it. I still am, and yet BL is like 'it's cool.'
Hello! I'm another immigrant from the Great GR Migration of 2013. When I came over I was all cozy mysteries, all the time, but thanks to BookLikes my horizons have expanded dramatically. Still tons of cozies, but also popular science, popular history, Urban Fantasy, historical fiction, and some general fiction. I periodically attempt a romance or two and stay as far away from SF as I can.

I was the same way at GR; I participated in at least one of the groups, but never came close to the interaction I have here. In spite of the groups here being dead, the posts themselves are always incredibly interactive.
Hi! I'm still not sure how much I'll participate in the bingo (I'll probably just end up seeing what fits on the card from what I'd normally read and go from there), but this way I can follow what you guys are doing. I'm still on GR although I never really participated in groups there.
Hey there BLers! Like Tannat, I don't know if I'll play the Halloween bingo, but I'll definitely be around for the Ammie, Come Home buddy read. Thought I'd join the club to be sociable and see what you're all up to.
Hi guys! I'm definitely participating in the Halloween Bingo & Ammie Come Home BR. Im not sure if I'm joining in on the Hound of the Baskervilles BR yet. Ive read it a couple times in the past but I am a big Sherlock fan so I'm going to wait & see how much progress I've made on my Bingo card & ARCs & go from there.
I'm also active on GR & I have Reading Room & LibraryThing accts that I don't ever use. They are all under same name Empress Reece (Hooked on Books) so feel free to friend me..
My fav genres are sci-fi, dystopian/post-apoc, horror, paranormal, mysteries, fantasy, ya, historical fic., thrillers & history. And I absolutely love books with cool settings like the Artic, jungle, space, ships, caves etc. I will read a little bit of everything though if it looks good or sounds good but I do tend to stay away from Romance, Erotica, Poetry, Women's Fic & Non-Fic like Self-Help, Biographies, Cooking, Gardening etc.
I can't wait to start this next bingo challenge! : ) Thx Moonlight & Obsidian for hosting!
Hi everybody! I've been on this site since Goodreads went through and started deleting peoples shelves. I'm going to attempt to participate in Halloween Bingo. It'll be my first book bingo and it should be fun.
Hi. :D I've been browsing shelves (my own and my library's) for potential reads all morning. I can't wait.
So, I've decided to join this one, too -- I have zero time to read and there's no way I'll be blacking out all the fields, but that bingo card is just too darned beautiful to sit on the sidelines and not do anything with it at all. And I'm beginning to have ideas for some of the categories ... so by and large, this is pretty irresistible.
For the newbies, I'm part of the Goodreads crowd that emigrated to BookLikes in 2013. My reading is pretty much all over the place, though horror is actually one of the genres lesser repesented in my library, but what the heck ... ! :)
Hi. I will join the halloween bingo as well, the summer book bingo has been so much fun and there are huge gaps in my reading history when it comes to horror books. I´m looking forward to the buddy reads and I really appreciate all the recommendations for the various bingo squares.
I think I joined Booklikes in 2012, back when you had to get a personal invite from another Booklikes member. Wow, such a long time. I´m reading pretty much everything, even though I´m not the biggest fan of fantasy, romance and YA books.
Another one who came over in the GRs debacle :)
I read all genres but only blog about romance. I didn't join in the last bingo card and was super jealous of how fun it looked so I definitely couldn't pass this one up. I'm going to contort the theme a bit and try to find romance genre books that will fit all the squares. As so, please don't consider me for any prizes if I get an early bingo. Just wanted to join in the fun and see what everyone was reading!
