I got my things! I'm going to post pictures but I'm not sure of etiquette: is it okay to post this early? Do I wait for my gifter to 'out' themselves or is it usually said on here by the giftee?

Either way, thank you! You nailed it: my favorite subgenre of horror book, a wearable that I was wearing minutes after opening it and a trifecta of perfection in the eatable. (It is one of my favorite flavors of one of my favorite branded foods and I did not realize they were making them in this flavor. It's also something I can either freeze - they are so good frozen - or nuke and I prefer nuking to cooking.)

Awaiting answers and going to clean while I wait. This happy surprise lessens the blow of cleaning so, so much!

I got a Splatterpunk book with art that I absolutely love. I haven't read any yet - I was out this weekend and just saw these outside the house - but I flipped through and am in love with the art. I have an old splatterpunk collection, but nothing new. (It doesn't help that authors can shy away from the splatterpunk label, but I think it fits perfectly even if it was started as a lark.)

I got peanut butter pop tarts. I absolutely adore all things peanut butter and I love pop tarts, so this is a perfect combination. What a neat surprise since I didn't know they were making these. I think I'm going to nuke one and freeze one in the first pack and see which way I like this better. (Some pop tart flavors fare better frozen, and some fare better hot.)

I also got a lovely steampunk necklace. If it looks slightly warped it's because it's under one of those glass domes. It's actually perfect because it does give it a slightly warped, and in my mind creepy look, because the curvature of the dome does make it seem a little off. I also think the artwork underneath has a slight sheen - which the glass distorts a little - but I absolutely love the overall effect.

I can't remember if I said I like peanut butter or not on my form but I suspect I did.

And I want to wear that necklace when I sleep but I toss and turn and will strangle myself.

I loved everything. It's all perfect. I can't wait to get started on the book later today. (And a lot of good books are OOP, which makes me sad when I try to get them.)

Ok, well, I got my first package yesterday - MT brought it home with him. It was great timing too - I stupidly tripped on one of our hallway steps earlier in the day and though I was totally fine, the jolt made me slam my wedding ring hand into the wall and the stone fell out (which I found), so I was a bit grumpy when he handed me the package. Then I wasn't! :D
