It closed on December 31. We included Epiphany in the holidays covered by the card, because it's a holiday that is closely related with Christmas in many cultures (in some, like many parts of the Hispanic world, even more or at least equally important), but the run of the game is always strictly 2 months, Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.

Your post of yesterday counts towards the final score, because some of the hosts (cough) also posted their final entries yesterday (my own final 2 posts also cut it damned close to the edge on Dec. 31 admittedly), which may have created the impression that the game isn't over yet -- and what with New Year's Eve and all that, I just took it that all of yesterday's posts had actually been compiled on Dec. 31. But it's definitely over now.

Sorry - I'm a bad, bad host and a bad, bad example. (I had it in my head the end date was Jan. 1st, not Dec 31st.)

::smacks my own hand:: BAD!

;-) I'm being a smart-ass, sorry, but I am willing to discard my posts that fell after the deadline. After all rules are rules.

Thank you.

I've obviously spent too much time working in Europe where I could never get anyone to come back from the Christmas vacations before 6th January.

I'll pull a wrap up post together.

You and TA have both been great hosts. It was a lot of fun. Thank you.
Thank you to everybody who contributed! It's been great fun and I've had a blast.

Wrap-up post here, in case you haven't seen it: http://themisathena.booklikes.com/post/1826404/24-festive-tasks-wrap-and-final-results ...

Tl;dr version: We collectively outdid ouselves and more than doubled last year's result. Hooray!
