I skimmed the crap out of it. If it wasn't picked for book club i would have stopped at page 46. So freaking infuriating. But the discussion on it was good, so at least there is that.

I did heavy skimming on a book for my Around-the-World Challenge. I kept thinking about quitting, but since it was for the challenge and every page was agony, there was no way I was quitting! Sometimes skimming is the only sensible thing to do!
The Foster Family by Jamie Samms, one of the main characters ends up running from the two men he loves and the home they want to share with him. It's as much an emotional run as an actual physical escape, but he's definitely running.

(Screenplay by Harold Pinter, based on Fowles's novel); one of my favorite movies. The MC is running from herself, and from a community where she has become a social outcast because she is (falsely) believed to have entered into an extramarital affair.

My review.

My R is for reunion and this was a great one!
