Post the book you read to fulfill this letter.
Sycamore Row by John Grisham, a sequel to A Time to Kill
A Christmas Portrait, Portrait #6 by J.P. Bowie

because I couldn't decide and neither of them was that long, I chose 2 for this one.

How are you liking Sycamore Row, nospin?
Tethered by Meljean Brook sequel to Heart of Steel
The Miracle at Speedy Motors, one in an unending series of No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency novels.
Wings of Fire, by Charles Todd. (First) sequel to A Test of Wills.

Have you read the Bess Crawford Mystery stories by Charles Todd? I've read two and liked them.
Not yet, but I may well try them.

No Good Duke Goes Unpunished by Sarah MacLean is the third book in her rules for scoundrels series. I did not like this one.... the heroine... just. Urg. I still need to type all my thoughts up...

I liked it a little better than you, but the more reviews I read after I'd finished, the more I came to dislike Mara.

Who do you think Chase is?

I've calmed down on her since I've read two books in between now. I am not sure if I want to go back and try to write that review...

I really don't know who Chase is. I completely missed any clues there may have been if there were any. I have to say I was really surprised by that twist!

Not strictly a "sequel" to me as it's been a while since I last read one of Ruth Rendell's Inspector Wexford books. But I figured I might as well return for another helping, to at least catch what she said would be the final installment ...
The Echo by James Smythe, the followup to The Explorer. I found it disappointing, partly because I've really liked his other stuff.
