Jim desires innovation and adding to traditional healthcare practices; he wants a past success at another hospital to be the success at Brooks Union in preventive healthcare classes, and holds statistics to back up the potential success. Mr. Tom Dennis was let go as head of leadership for his failure to provide profits and growth during his tenure, when he already brought in alternative medicine options, prestige medical physicians, and failed to retain or grow market share. Jim had great success with incorporating similar programs and brought another physician to assist with implementing the practice of these ideas. Dr. Blau is a traditionalist in providing healthcare, dedicated to his craft of turning out patients, holds great influence in the leadership, and is objecting to both the direction of Jim’s vision and Dr. Gisela Zafar’s pioneering of it. It is the intent to explore a solution which allows for alternative healthcare programs for community participation (with an increase in revenue), while maximizing progress, minimizing adversity in costs (of time and financing) and fostering teamwork among leadership.
