I was going to give this 3 stars since I was really absorbed in the story. Now that I am done, however, I realize I liked all the twists but couldn't reconcile myself to what "bad" people they were, and how they seemed to reinvent themselves, almost at the author's convenience.
I have heard alot of mixed reviews about this book. I loved it though, if people ask me about it, I call it a twisted Sarah, Plain and Tall without the kids!
