I will check out more by Jeff Young.
Fox Chase - Jeff Young

Fox Chase is a steampunk fantasy/paranormal short story about medium, Kassandra Leyden, as she assists in a life threatening situation.

Action-packed with a steady stream of information, this felt a lot fuller than its few pages. Well written and good, intriguing characters that capture the reader.

I will check out more by Jeff Young.

I would recommend this one!
Un-Conventional - Tony Talbot

Well this was a fun little tale. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and even the backstory of a slightly strange sci-fi show with a small but loyal following of fans, even though I'm not a huge sci-fi fan myself.

This was amusing and very enjoyable. If you feel like trying one of Tony's short stories I would recommend this one.

I would certainly recommend this one.
Time Out - Tony Talbot

This was a fantastic short story, full of amazingly well written scenes and just enough information to make the story gut-wrenching.

A little paranormal twist thrown in for good measure and you have yourself a pretty awesome little story.

I would certainly recommend this one.

A great short ghost tale...
The Girl on the Stairs - Tony Talbot

A great short ghost tale that explores the ghost tropes with an interesting twist. While I had seen it before, I liked the innocent young girl character.

If you're curious about Tony's writing and want to read a short story this one is a good one to try if the genre takes your fancy.

This is how a short story should be done.
A Piece of Time - Traci Harding

This!

This is how a short story should be done. The story felt whole, the characters real and the conclusion satisfactory yet still ambiguous enough to leave questions.

Tani, our protagonist, made logical choices and decisions, even while dealing with the paranormal phenomenon in the story. It was so nice to see that logical thought pattern.

That the piece also focused on a pocket watch and tied it in so nicely, was an added bonus.

I saw no errors in this piece. An enjoyable read with a great cast of characters.
