Now, I have been reading many children’s books that dealt with a child’s first day at school, but I was quite surprised and honored that the author Tamar Bobokhidze had given me a free copy of her newest children’s book “Nora’s First Day at School” along with artwork by Salome Eqizashvili and I must admit that it was quite a cute experience to read through!

The story begins with Nora going to Bumble Bee Academy Daycare for the first time and she is really nervous about going. Her father then comforts Nora and tells her that everything going to be alright. Nora then meets her new teacher Ms. Hilda and Ms. Hilda ends up making Nora extremely comfortable in the classroom. Nora was also able to make new friends with her classmates and introduce them to her special toy giraffe Raffee.

Tamar Bobokhidze has done a great job at writing this book as all the characters are extremely adorable to read and I liked how the setting of this book, which takes place at a daycare center, has an extremely friendly environment! I liked the fact that Tamar Bobokhidze focused on the issue about making children comfortable on their first day of school by encouraging both kids and teachers to be as helpful as they can to a new student. This book would be extremely helpful to both parents and teachers who are dealing with kids who are afraid of their first day at school and this book would help teach them how to allow the new students to get used to their new surroundings and make friends easily. I loved the fact that Tamar Bobokhidze made all the characters extremely helpful and friendly with each other, especially Ms. Hilda herself as she is probably one of the most helpful teachers I had ever read in any children’s book as she does all she can to make sure that Nora is comfortable at her new school. I really loved the fact that Nora’s classmates also played their part in making Nora’s first day of school a comfortable experience as they were willing to play games with her and made her feel welcome in the classroom. Salome Eqizashvili’s artwork is adorable to look at as all the animal characters have large and cute looking eyes and I loved the friendly atmosphere of the daycare center itself.

The reason why I gave this book a four-star rating was because I felt that the story was a bit slow at some places and sometimes it was hard for me to get through certain scenes because of the pacing.

Overall, “Nora’s First Day at School” is a truly cute book about going to school for the first time and about how you can conquer your anxiety on your first day of school by making friends and having a helpful teacher! I would recommend this book to children ages three and up since there is nothing inappropriate in this book.

I have always loved reading books that deal with animals and when I got a free copy of “Rabbit’s Snow Day” from the author Todd Strader, I was really excited to check this book out since I love reading books about rabbits! “Rabbit’s Snow Day” which is written by Todd Strader along with artwork by Penny Collins is a truly cute story about how rabbits survive in the winter that children will definitely enjoy!

Basically, the plot of this book is about the rabbits trying to survive the winter and about how they try to stay out of the fox and the humans’ way while the winter is raging away and this is all told in a poetic narrative.

Wow! This book was a really cute read, especially if you love rabbits (like myself) and Todd Strader did a fantastic job at writing this book as the book is told in a poetic narrative that gives the book a unique and beautiful tone. I also loved the information that Todd Strader provided about rabbits at the end of the book as I wanted to learn more about rabbits in general and how they live in the wilderness and survive the dangers of the wilderness. Penny Collins’ artwork is gorgeous to look at as all the animals are drawn realistically, especially the rabbits themselves and I enjoyed seeing the winter atmosphere of the artwork as snow covers everything, from the ground to the trees, and all the snow covering up the pages give the artwork a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. 



The reason why I gave this book a four-star rating was because I felt that the story was a bit too short and I wanted a much longer story on the rabbits’ adventures during the winter season and their encounters with the fox and the humans. I also felt that a good majority of this book was focused more on giving out information about rabbits in general rather than focusing on giving us a story about the rabbits and their time spent surviving the winter season.

Overall, “Rabbit’s Snow Day” is a cute book for anyone who loves reading about rabbits and loves reading about winter as a whole. I would recommend this book to children ages four and up since there is nothing inappropriate in this book.

The story is about a young boy named Henry who has received some pocket money from his parents and he ends up hiding the pocket money in his little treasure chest, even though his parents keep telling him that he needs to put his money in the bank. However, Henry has a small problem: he believes that his little sister Lucy is actually a sly ninja who is out to steal his treasure and Henry tries to think up of some schemes that will prevent Lucy from stealing his treasure!

Will Henry be successful in protecting his treasure from Lucy and what kind of tricks will Lucy pull from her sleeves?

Read this book to find out! 

I was actually quite surprised that TaleBlade had offered me a free advanced review copy of this book as I was quite interested in checking out this cute little children’s book from the mind of B.C. R. Fegan! B.C.R. Fegan has done a great job at writing this story as it focuses on Henry trying to protect his precious pocket money from his little sister Lucy and I loved the fact that this story tackles the importance of taking your parents’ advice if said advice is meant to help the child in the long run. I also loved the fact that B.C.R. Fegan focused on the importance of the love shared between siblings as the story relates how Henry would distrust his little sister Lucy in terms of whether or not she would steal his money and I was quite interested in seeing how Henry would solve his dilemma with his little sister Lucy throughout the story. Lenny Wen’s artwork is adorable to look at as the characters are drawn in a rounded and adorable way that made me smile inside! I also loved the fact that Lenny Wen used watercolors to provide a luscious feel to the artwork and they really shine in the images of the monsters themselves, especially of the artwork of the large pink pig that would have helped Henry guard his treasure.



The reason why I took off half a point from the rating was because I felt that there was a bit of a plot hole in this story as I was curious about how Henry got his pocket money (I know it seems a bit odd to know about, but I wanted to know if Henry got his money from house chores or the like). I also wanted to see more moments between Henry and Lucy when Henry is not busy imagining Lucy as a ninja most of the time, since I wanted to see the full extent of their relationship in the real world.

Overall, “Henry and the Hidden Treasure” is a truly cute book for children who want to learn the importance of taking good advice from parents and loving their siblings for all of their faults. I would recommend this book to children ages four and up since there is nothing inappropriate in this book.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!

The cover is deceiving because you think you are looking at the Guardian, but you are not!  Tricky Tricky!

This is the 5^th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content.  I highly recommend reading the series in order because the characters are much better when you understand them through their own book story :)

This book departs from tradition, and I loved it! I was very confused in the beginning, but I don’t usually read the blurbs because I like to be surprised.  And I was surprised! 

At first I thought Drum was a tool, but he was protective where his family was concerned which I admired.  I think he didn’t realize how much potential he had in the wake of his mom and sisters’ talents and thinking his was nothing of value and only a parlor trick.  I grow fond of him especially his protective streak.  Ash is a typical warrior and also more lost than most Guardians due to the circumstance surrounding her.  She is just as protective as Drum, and it makes for entertainment for sure!  Of course, I really loved when Kylie and Wynn joined with snarky conversations that are most amusing.  I couldn’t put this book down, and I’m sick as a dog right now!

I highly recommend this book and series to all readers to love rock hard men…and woman….get your minds out of the gutters…gargoyles rule!  You definitely want to read if you love Christine’s work too!  I can’t wait to see what Christine sculpts next!

This is the 3^rd book in the series.  Of course this is for adults only due to the steamy content and yes it involves a trio or triad as it is called.

This book had me from the start.  I loved the mystery and the fact that it brings the Asher-Dixon clan into the series.  This book had many twists, turns, and intrigues concerning Ann.  Plenty of content to keep you gripped in the story and what was happening.

While it is not required to read the other books in the series, I do recommend it because it is interesting and unique.  Authors always amaze me with their creativity especially when it involves shifters which are my favorite. 

If you are a bear lover or already love Sable, then you won’t want to miss this story!
