Casey Faraday was a soldier before he was a spy, but family always came first, no matter what.

When a member of the Faraday clan is snatched off the streets and dragged halfway across the world, it’s Casey who follows the kidnappers’ trail to South America. Thrust into the heart of the cartel he barely escaped during an undercover assignment four years earlier, he’s unprepared for the shock awaiting him on Colombian soil.

Ilda Almeida—the only woman to ever tempt Casey into madness, the beautiful wife he’d mourned for years—is very much alive. And keeping a secret that will forever change life as he knows it.

Casey can’t control his hands—or his heart—around Ilda, but neither can he abandon his rescue mission. When cartel violence turns the jungle into a bloodbath, he can only protect one family: his.

I was keeping an eagle eye out for the ARC of this book, having enjoyed books 1 & 2, Blamed & Ripped so very, very much. I mean, exactly how often can you read the phrase warmongering used both correctly and literally in a romance novel.  But that's what the Faraday family is all about - War. From the assassin, to political and financial machinations, to spying and soldiering, to actual creation of the weaponry. This family deals in all aspects of War and Violence.

At the end of the previous book, the youngest brother was kidnapped right off the streets of Boston, leaving us with a bit of a cliffhanger wondering how the family would respond. This isn't his story. This is the eldest, Casey's story. We got to know him a bit in the first two books, mentioned alongside the other siblings. But now it's Casey's turn to take the driver's seat and show us what he's made of - sexy, scary things mostly.

Casey and Ilda's story was full of flashbacks, from both perspectives. It takes a while, but we find out the whys and hows to his believe she was dead. There was some misdirection involved here, and it took most of the book for the truth to come out. Her secret was what I figured it would be, no real surprise there. I was surprised by the main villain though, he managed to shock me in the end.

The series arc that was started in Blamed continues on, not really giving us much more to work with. I hope that sister Gillian's story will tell us more. I enjoyed this read and can't wait to read more about these unique Faraday siblings. I gave this book 4 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and Carina Press for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Blood Money (Bad Money Series Book 1)
Blood Money (Bad Money Series Book 1) - Ali Parker,Nicole Bailey Proof Before You Publish,Kellie Dennis Book Covers By Design Don't you love it when you grab a book because it's free and you discover a new author that you love.
Wow just wow, I loved this story. It flowed fast and flawlessly keeping me glued to my kindle. There was action, drama, drugs and sex. The story even drew me to tears in the middle, when an author evokes emotion in me like that...it's a winner.
The characters were engaging and well developed and it was a great plot.
The ending....what! no no no. You'll have to read it find out what just shook me. Ok I must find book 2 now.
I highly recommend this book for lovers of action and romance, well it will be a romance if they get they're HEA at the moment it's lust.

Fight For Me
Ripped: A Blood Money Novel - Edie Harris

Where to start?  There is so much going on in this book! It has characters from the first story in this series as well.  Tobias Faraday meets and interrogates Chandler about her work for the Russian Mob.  She was a killer among them.  His sister was kidnapped by them and tortured and he believes Chandler is one of those responsible.

Tobias aka "Toby" to Chandler is super HOT!  She can barely control her tongue when she is around him.  Her body wants to do all sorts of naughty things with him, but hey are enemies.  That does not stop sparks from flying around every room they are in together.  He is known as The Ice King, who never responds to a woman's advance - but she sees in his eyes he is not as indifferent to her as he shows.

Chandler is willing to do whatever it takes to repair her good name and status as an MI-6 agent.  Toby gives her a deal that she will take him to Russia and help him infiltrate those who tortured his sister, if she can go to her sister's wedding.  Only the wedding is a week long even where they have to pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend and share a room.

Like I said earlier, so much happens in this book!  There is more to this story about who comes to visit during the wedding and what happens in Russia.  I do not want to spoil it but it is a great read and well worth the time to find out.  I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Love is least expected
Blood Money (Bad Money Series Book 1) - Ali Parker,Nicole Bailey Proof Before You Publish,Kellie Dennis Book Covers By Design

Jon Peterson and Kate Jarrett have everything against them.  Jon and Kate both loved his brother, and Jon's brother Adam was in love with Kate.  After Adam is gone, Kate is arrested and charged with murder.

Jon is angry that he is so attracted to her.  Kate tries to fight how she feels for him, but she cannot seem to control how she feels.  Jon knows she could have any one she wanted.  He just hopes he can convince her to want him.

Kate is surprised by how she is reacting to Jon.  She has a man willing to help her with her physical needs, but is now finding she wants more.  Can they be with him?  Can she learn to trust?

The bar she owns seems to be the center of trouble lately.  Jon is a police officer and must investigate if she is involved in the crimes committed there.  He wars within himself about her guilt.  Her is pretty sure she is innocent but has to prove it somehow.

This book is seriously fast paced and not for the faint of heart.  There are many things that make you doubt where the book is going, but the author keeps us hopping as we head to the finish line. There is more coming in the next book in the Bad Money Series and I hope it comes out soon!!  I give this story a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
