BLOOD LUST by Catherine Sharp
Blood Lust - Catherine Sharp

A serial killer is loose and flight attendant Claire Hunt is questioned in connection to the first murder as she falls for Detective Nick Ryan. They begin an affair during the investigation. As the investigation continues signs point to Claire being intimately involved in the murders. Is she innocent as Nick hopes or such a good actress she can cover up her actions?

I liked the mystery of the story. It was well planned out. It creeped me out as I read the murderer's thoughts. I did not have any idea who it was until the end. I thought I had it several times but I was wrong.

The romance moved very fast. Claire and Nick's conversations at the beginning were stilted. There was not a smooth flow in the beginning. As the story moved along with the murder becoming more central to the book the conversation and the actions, both romantic and suspenseful, evened out and the writing flowed.

I liked this book and will read more of Catherine Sharp. I like her writing style.

So, now we can't get enough Vikings! This was mainly because they bathed unlike most men from that era.

Oh, and swords, leather, and other yummy stuff.

So, here you are! More great Vikings! Romance Novel Style.

I left off the Viking bodice rippers. I have read and enjoyed them (at the time) but they are an acquired taste. Everything is really but they are more like oysters. Some people love them. Some people throw up. :)

Do you have a Man from the North to recommend? Let me know!

If you would like to see more recommendations (bodice rippers are there) and view sexy Vikings, check out my Pinterest Board: Dragon Ship: Best Viking Romance.

Did you know you can request a list? You can! Penny did! This list goes out to her!
