ISSUED TO THE BRIDE ONE NAVY SEAL by Cora Seton
Issued to the Bride One Navy SEAL (Brides of Chance Creek Book 1) - Cora Seton

Cass and her sisters have been running off overseers and guardians appointed by their father from their ranch for years. When another overseer has been run off, their father decides to take more of a hand in it and sends in a Navy SEAL with the hope that he can see what is going on and, possibly, marry Cass. What he finds is not what he expected. Can he help the women? Will they let him? Will they run him off?

I enjoyed this book a whole lot! I liked Cass and her sisters. I also enjoyed Brian and his soon-to-be teammates. Cass and Brian are good together once Cass lets down her walls. He shares his past with her, and she shares hers. She also lets him know what has been going on with the ranch for the past year. Action and adventure galore when their plan kind of backfires. I get my HEA and the set up for the next book in the series. This is going to be fun!

Small town rom
The Sheriff Catches a Bride - Cora Seton

More focus on the over encompassing cast of characters, including past and future heroes and heroines, and the small town relationship drama. Also a pretty big secondary storyline following a girl from Afghanistan trying to escape the Taliban, felt a bit out of left field.

This was my first foray into the series, which you could start here because there is nothing confusing but you won't feel emotional attachment to the characters.

Wanted the hero and heroine to spend more time together and didn't feel like I ever got to know the hero but writing was good and as a Kindle Freebie, it did its job of interesting me enough to look into other books in the series.

Takes place in Montana but still had a slight western feel.

Quick Christmas Read
The Navy SEAL's Christmas Bride (Heroes of Chance Creek Book 4) - Cora Seton

The Navy SEAL'S Christmas Bride by Cora Seton is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading.   Ms. Seton has provided us with an entertaining Christmas story that is well-written and packed with amazing, lovable characters.  Dan is recently retired from the Navy and is visiting Mason for the holidays.  Sarah is visiting Mason's wife during the holidays while deciding if she wants to stay in the Army or turn in her papers to get out.  Sarah and Dan's story is full of competitions, humor, drama and sizzle.  I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more from Cora Seton in the future.  The Navy SEAL'S Christmas Bride is book 6 of The Heroes Of Chance Creek Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
