My Thoughts.....

As this 9th installment in the Chloe Daniels Mysteries we get some more new characters featuring Shane Budrow and James Summers. All that is left to say is from that race someone was left dead. 'Was this a accident or something more." As in all of the former series this author lets us visit with a group of pass characters that will catch the reader up to some of what has now happened to them. You will have to read the earlier series to find out more about there situations as the story continues on. Question like...Will Drake be able to make it out of this mess he is in with Carmen? Will Anna Black and Lenora's situation finally be found out? What about Major and Mayven...are they alive? How was Addison able to stop what was going on in her life with that stalker? Has Addison found love with Canaan? As for Michael and Chloe are they about to go to another level as they seem to be falling in love? I am sure these questions and so much more will be discussed as you read through this series of 'Dare.' I guess we will have to go to the next series... Michael and Chloe: Chloe Daniels Surprise (Chloe Daniels Mysteries Book 10) to find out what next especially for these two.

"Only If You Dare" by Stephanie Nicole Norris

My Thoughts....

What will happen when Desiree decides to quit her job? Will something happen that causes her to remain on the job? I loved how this author gives the reader one interesting plot for this well told story. Well, when Julian Rose the brother of Jaden Rose decides he wanted Desiree to work for him on a photo project, her life will definitely change. But in what way will this happen for Desiree because she had a hands off policy toward men due to what had happened with her earlier in her life where she seemed to take out her 'frustrations and pain out on everyone around her' definitely leaving her with a lot of trust issues especially with men. Will Julian be able to help change all of that for Desiree? Well, you will just have to pick up this wonderful love, with some well developed characters, hot love scenes and even a believable read that will keep your interest turning the pages till the end. I did love Desiree's best friend Santana. Wow, to have a friend like her to want to move and start a new life just to be around your best friends...left me still saying WoW!

Julian was definitely another Rose brother to add to that wonderful colorful collection of brothers om this good read! I will say that I may have missed something in the read ... like what was up with that guy that broke into the girls apartments and what was he really up to by doing this to them? Oh well, I still enjoyed the read.

Now, I will be waiting for the next series 'Falling For A Rose Book 4' that deals with Desiree's best friend Santana and another Rose brother...Josiah in "Fever.

"Dare To Surrender" by Carly Phillips

My Thoughts...

This was a beautiful first story of the NY Dare series. The two Isabelle and Gabe really had it going on as being perfect for each other. The rescue from Isabelle's first boyfriend was really something else. It was quite interesting seeing how Isabelle was finally able to see just who see was and be able to figure how just what she wanted for her life. And then their was Gabe [so protective]...oh my, my, my! However, it seems like Gabe had some secrets that he was trying to keep but...I guess this is where I say you will have to pick up 'Dare To Surrender' to see how well this author brings it all out to the readers. I thought this was a wonderful erotic and passionate read of how two lost souls found each other.

Dare to Rock (Dare to Love) (Volume 7) - Carly Phillips

I am a fan of the Dare series and was looking forward to Avery and Grey's story. Overall it was a light and steamy read, but I wish it would've been longer. I don't mind a quick read where the couple has chemistry and falls for each other, but when a couple has a history and has been apart for so long, I like to know what happened in each of their lives during that time. That time is quickly mentioned but without any real detail. And while it isn't short on sex, it was a bit short on actual romance. I am dying to see what the story is between Avery's best friend Ella and her brother Tyler - I hope their story is coming soon!
