Tap That by RC Boldt, Jennifer Blackwood
Tap That - Jennifer Blackwood,R.C. Boldt

With a little innuendo and a ton of laughs, Tap That makes brewing a sexy business. Blackwood and Boldt blend their heated humor and heartwarming storytelling into an unstoppable combination. Reid and Callie go for broke with a sensationally sinful battle of wits and heart. Once you have read it, it's hard to forget it.

good story and characters
Falling for the Fake Fiance - Jennifer Blackwood

Jill was to get a quarter of her grandmother’s- Grammy- estate but will only get the money if she is married by her thirtieth birthday which was in two months. If Jill is not married the money will go to her grandmother’s favorite charity. Jill had been closer to her grandmother then her mother Deborah. Jill had a daughter named Emily who was seven years old who was very smart and went to a private school. Emily’s father- Jake- had not even stayed around to see what sex Emily was instead when Jill was in labor he stole her bank card and went to a casino. Every guy Jill ended up with just seemed to be garbage. Jill’s best friend’s were Mia and Kate. Jill was worried about keeping Emily at Brighton College Prep School. Jill wanted nothing more than to be out of her mother- Deborah’s and brother- Gage’s debt. They had been helping Jill for the last year pay the private school’s tuition. Maybe Jill had lost the ability to love. Then Jill let Kate talk her into a single’s speed dial social but that wasn’t going to well. Then Jill left the social to go up to the room Kate had said she was in when she knocked Aaron opened the door. Jill hadn’t seen Aaron in eleven years. Aaron had just got out of the army and was helping his father with his business until he started a job in D C.

I like this story a lot. It had my interest from the first page of this book until the last. But it did drag a little for me. I liked the plot and the pace for the most part. I loved Jill and Aaron together and how Aaron was with Emily. I was rooting for Aaron and Jill. I also thought Emily added a lot to the story and enjoyed her. I did feel this was a little unrealistic that all of sudden Jill are Aaron realize they are in love but still enjoyed it. I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I recommend.

Falling for the Fake Fiance
Falling for the Fake Fiance - Jennifer Blackwood She's desperate, he's lovestruck. Not exactly an auspicious beginning to an everlasting love, but very conducive to an entertaining read. Falling For The Fake Fiancée is about finding the happiness of one's dreams, when the odds are stacked against success. Jill has lost hope. Her days consist of loving her daughter, going to work and a judgmental mother. Aaron could be the answer to her prayers. This boy next door, could end up being the man of her dreams, if she leads with her heart and not her head. Ms. Blackwood is a writer that has fun with her craft. Her characters are not ashamed to voice the thoughts we repress or follow through with the actions of the less courageous. Reading Jennifer Blackwood is always a pleasurable experience.

Good Story and Characters
The Rule Maker - Jennifer Blackwood

Zoey loved cars for the sole reason it had become her command station, her Batmobile that could answer emails, texts, and memos at voice command. Zoey is an interior decorator.  Zoey was choking on a Reeses peanut butter cup and finally slammed against her steering wheel and dislodged the candy.  There was an email from Jason Covington. Zoey had slept with her client’s brother Ryder and she cursed that night. Zoey remembers how he snuck out during the night without an explanation and then never called her. Ryder was a professional snowboarder and was home while he recuperated from a broken leg. Ryder had a rule never to date or sleep with anyone more than once. Zoey pulled up to the one of many ski resorts on Mt. Rainier. Zoey was to do the renovations on this resort and it had been left in the seventies. Nothing made Zoey happier then having her mind busy with plans for a new project. All she had to do was create mock-ups that would blow Jason Covington’s mind. Then Zoey got stuck in the window but knew Jason had one of his men coming up. Zoey then heard a voice she couldn’t forget and  sure enough it was Ryder. Then man she had slept with. Jason- Ryder’s brother had been paralyzed from the waist down and wasn’t doing too well since the accident and now Ryder was her client and she had  to work with him through the whole project. Normally it would have been Jason as he was the head of the family’s real estate company. Zoey tries to get out of the project but Ryder said Jason wouldn’t be happy. Zoey had taken the second job from Jason as she knew it was good for her company as well as her career.  Then a sudden snow storm occurs and Ryder and Zoey are stuck at the resort for the night. First thing the next morning Zoey leaves. Both Ryder and Zoey are leery of each other but both for different reasons. Zoey fought her feelings for Ryder.

I liked this story a lot. It made me laugh out loud and that doesn’t happen very often at least not from a book. This is a fun romance that gave Ryder and Zoey a second chance with each other. But Zoey and Ryder made each other crazy as they tried to fight the attraction. But I will say that this story kept my attention from the very beginning to the very end. I love how Jason and Ryder are with each other. But this story was a little predictable. At first I really didn’t like Ryder for the way he treated Zoey but as time went on my opinion changed of him. But Ryder was also worried about his future after the broken leg. This dragged a bit at times but I still really enjoyed the story. I loved the plot, characters and the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.

Music
90s Playlist (Romance Rewind) (Volume 1) - Jennifer Blackwood,Rebecca Grace Allen,Amy Jo Cousins,Audra North,Brighton Walsh,Lorelie Brown

This is an anthology of six stories, based on songs from the 90's decade.  I chose My Strongest Weakness by Brighton Walsh, for my review.  I highly recommend reading this fascinating book full of great stories!

Mason & Tia have secrets.  Some for them together, some for themselves.  With the attraction intensifying, can they find a future together?

Tia has been hurt before.  Mason has the power to hurt her even more.  Should she take a risk or run away?

This was such an amazing story.  I loved the character interaction.  There was some serious story-line, heat, humor, and more.  I truly absorbed each page.  I give this anthology a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
