In honor of the utterly wonderful Hard Times by Cara McKenna and its steamy love letters and texts, the last list of this week goes out to all those sensual notes and other ways the word makes us falls in love in Romance Novels and outside of them.

You may think the love letter faded away with the typewriter and the inkwell but it has just morphed.  And when you get an actual letter it is even sweeter.

Should I tell in you in my freshman year of college that the computer lab tutor and I use to exchange flirty words on the closed server of the writing center? Until we got caught by my professor...awkward.

Should I tell you of the sweet and very naught notes, my husband use to leave under the windshield wiper of my beat up 69 VW Bug in the parking lot of  my work when we were dating?

He always writes for my beloved in the books gives me.

And now that we have with a little pitcher with big ears, texting while in the same room is its own kind of date night.

He is smart. The Wordcat likes words.

I bet you do too!

Accidental Texting: Finding Love Despite the Spotlight
Accidental Texting: Finding Love Despite the Spotlight - Kimberly Montague The story was good but I'd have liked it more if it weren't so long, still it was worth the read with strong likable characters :)

Accidental Texting: Finding Love Despite the Spotlight - Kimberly Montague This is more of a 3.5 than 3 stars, but GR won't let me. A+ for the idea. I have to say that I loved the blurb when I read it and I knew I had to read it. However, most of the time I had a love/hate relationship with this book. There was no that big-moment that I love in books - something that you've been waiting to happen to make you say THIS is why I read this. Still, it was a sweet love story. The beginning was brilliant, and I loved it. Like I said, the whole concept of this book sounded awesome. And I kind of loved everything right up until she leaves LA back home, and this is caused by *drumroll please* the big misunderstanding. Then it all sort of really slows down, and nothing major really happens. The whole ending was like reading an over-the-top Justin Bieber fanfic. It's not that I didn't like Morgan (great name), but I didn't love her, either. She was so whiny and constantly crying. I did admire her for being so strong after what she went through with that prick Brent, and the way she wouldn't let Sean walk all over her.And Sean...well, I don't know. I didn't like his controlling side, at all, and he did have it. At times he acted downright childish. Plus, he becomes a lovesick puppy in a matter of weeks, when he only ever texted and talked to Morgan on the phone. Very reassuring. I did love his confidence, and cockiness when it surfaced. I always smiled when he told her that he was voted one of the most handsome men in America - three years in a row. It just fits him somehow. It's a bit on the longish side, and after it slows down, it took me forever to finish it. I do have to say I really liked the dialogue, it's seemed so natural. People stammer like that in real life, you could see reluctance behind Sean's words when he was telling her something she probably didn't want to hear. It's something I loved in Harriet Evans's books, as well, although it was a bit more pronounced here. This book is something along the lines of Entourage meets Cinderella. If you have a bit time on your hands, I'd definitely say give it a try. It kept me entertained for a day.

Accidental Texting: Finding Love despite the Spotlight
Accidental Texting: Finding Love Despite the Spotlight - Kimberly Montague I'd probably say more along the lines of 3 1/2 stars.

Its a good story, but maybe a tad too long? I think this is what readers will struggle with.

I cannot fault the characters being brought to life, Kimberly does that extremely well. Morgan's character frustrated me a few times by the amount of times she was crying. For someone who seemed so strong this began to irk me a little that she always ended up crying. Sean's character was dream worthy as was all the body guards I really enjoyed the banter with Stewie, Anthony and Nathan.

All in all this is a good, fun story and a lovely romance.

Racing Outside the Line (A Love Story at... Racing Outside the Line (A Love Story at 190 mph #1) - Kimberly Montague Amusing and fast-paced for certain, Racing Outside the Line is an enjoyable romance story.

There were times where some typos got in the way of the scene, but they were easily overlooked overall. Another pass over by an editor wouldn't go astray.

I am not a car buff, nor will I ever be, so I was quite happy when Kimberly didn't go into too much detail about the cars and the racing. It was enough to satisfy my interests in the topic, providing enough filler to make the characters real and three dimensional, while not too much so as to cover up the real reason we want to read the story... steamy, sexy Seth! I loved Seth... maybe it was the bad-ass racing boy that got to me?

I will admit, that at times I wanted to smack Lexie... she got a little too frustrating towards the end of the book with all her emotional baggage. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand why she was going through it, but I felt we got to see just a little too much, which made her become a bit annoying at times.

I LOVED Gene! I wish we'd got to see some more of him... perhaps a side story about Gene?

I quite like the cover art, though Seth is better looking than the guy on the cover in my mind :)

The sexy side of this story was both sweet/romantic and sexy/steamy. I liked that we got to see both sides of the couple, not just the sweet and gentle side, but the crazy out of control side too.

Thanks for an enjoyable read Kimberly!
