Ten Days in Tuscany by Annie Seaton
Ten Days in Tuscany (Entangled Indulgence) (Men of the Zodiac) - Annie Seaton

I have a problem with lies - especially from my main characters. But I get this one!!! It did not bother me at all. His lie was not an attempt to trick the girl into thinking something else, but a way to stay under the radar while he was on vacation. But of course, one thing lead to another and now how do you tell her who you really are??? Nic was a pretty good guy. A little too caught up in work - but it seems like that's what makes a man rich. I loved his passion for art. It was something a little different than what I see in a lot of characters.

Gia was a little less likable for me. She had some self-esteem issues that just didn't fit in with the rest of her out going personality. She just didn't believe in herself as an artist. Nic sees her talent immediately though (and that leads to another lie that I wasn't as forgiving of) and tries to help her with an art show.

There's a lot of on again off again in this story. Some of it was believable and some of it wasn't. What really drew me into the story was Gia's traditional family and their expectations of her. The setting was also amazingly beautiful. I really want to go to Tuscany now - take in the sites, eat some food, and meet a millionaire.

The Millionaire's Forever by Sonya Weiss
The Millionaire's Forever (Entangled Indulgence) (Men of the Zodiac) - Sonya Weiss

There were a few things I really loved about this one, and a few things I'd have rather done without. I'm never a big fan of lies, but since this one was just about the relationship to stranger instead of to the people in the relationship, it didn't bother me. It was actually a clever way to drum up business for Olivia, she just didn't think far enough ahead for a way out. This is something that Mason was quick to take advantage of.

Mason's reasons for a pretend relationship are much different that Olivia's. Mason is out for revenge - and after hearing his story I totally get why. But Olivia gets caught in the crossfire and he doesn't seem to want to see that. He hurts her a lot by the way he acts, and that made it difficult to like him a whole lot. On the other hand, he really was a good guy that had his outlook on things warped by some bad people.

The way some of the issues were resolved (I can't say too much or I risk ruining some things) just didn't seem to feel right. Too much was still left undone or unsaid. While the relationship definitely wrapped up nicely in a bow, the side events that caused all the conflict just didn't give me any real sense of resolution with them

The Millionaire's Deception by Wendy Byrne
The Millionaire's Deception - Wendy Byrne

This book was a mixed bag for me.  I really loved Frankie.  She was fun and had an amazing personality.  The way she related to the "old folk" and "ex-fiances" was so much fun to experience.  Frankie is the big backer behind the campaign to keep the town from being bought up by a nasty developer.  She's fighting hard, but the developer fights dirty.

They send in Rafe.  I didn't like Rafe.  I really wanted Frankie to kick him in the balls and laugh at him for a good chunk of the story.  He shows up in town to try and convince her to sell her business - not realizing the Frankie is a girl and that she also has some amazing legs.  Ok - I can see how the name could throw you, but didn't you do just a little research?  You oh so awesome skills are flaunted several times and this was a serious oversight.  He also continues to try and "do his job" of getting her to sell while falling in love with her and having sex with her.  Such a jerk!!!

In the end he finds a way back into her good graces - but it seemed a little cheap to me.  This book had sooo much going for it outside of Rafe,  Even the old lady's book club was hilarious and just the right amount of random humor.  I just had such a hard time rooting for Rafe to get the girl.

Impulse Control by Amanda Usen
Impulse Control (Entangled Indulgence) (Men of the Zodiac) - Amanda Usen

This book was tons of fun and it came really super close to getting that 4th star.  I loved watching Russ and Susannah interact, it was the perfect example of an opposites attract relationship.  Their conversations were witty and their accidental touches sparked some seriously hot thinking.

My favorite parts were watching them interact in each of their respective new environments.  Susannah showed just how tough she could be hiking a mountin in freezing temperatures (you sure won't find me doing anything like that - I need warmth).  This is when things really started for the two of them - in close quarters sharing a tent it was hard to to react to each other.  I was a bit disappointed in her side of the show.  While Russ got to take her into his environment for a few days, she only seemed to get a couple hours of "domestication" on her show with him.  The story carries it a bit further outside of her show, but I really wanted to seem him try to cook and clean while chasing a kid around.

Overall, this was quite fun.  There is some silly social media and blog posts that really helped to bring their relationship to life.  I just really wanted to see Russ cook asparagus.
