Talk of the Town
Talk of the Town - Suzanne Macpherson It’s not obvious from how I shelved it, but I actually did enjoy this. It is a pretty stereotypical small town story -- the kind of mythical small town where the hero never bothers to lock the doors of his penthouse apartment. With its own swimming pool. And there were some exceptionally stupid moment, like the Sheriff who leaves a prisoner in the custody of her worst enemy. But it was lighthearted and likable, with a minor suspense element that doesn’t get in the way much.
