Wow, wow, wow! 

There's not a lot I can say about this book without giving away all the delicious twists and turns, do you'll just have to believe me when I say what starts off as an interesting interstellar tale turns into a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions just shy of halfway through. 

I loved the characters.  Sanda is an excellent main character as is her brother Biran, I enjoyed getting to know both of them and I'm pretty sure there's more to learn in the future.  I seen this book called twisty, but let me tell you, it's UBER twisty and I was just hanging on for dear life.

One of the subplots seemed incredibly out of place and I had no idea how it fit in to the main story... and to be honest, I don't think I fully get it even now, but I'm ready to find out.  *LOL* 

Look, I enjoyed the hell out of this book and recommend it to anyone who likes space adventure.  There's a cliffhanger at the end, of course, the whole damned book is filled with them!  But that's okay!  And it's killing me that I don't know when the next book is coming out!!

The team is trying to infiltrate an illegal underage cage fighting ring that kidnapped street kids and force them to fight to their death. 

Johnny was supposed to be the one who got kidnapped. He got hurt and Ethan took his place. The tracker in Ethan got lost and now he was on his own.

The plot is a bit too much as responsible adults in MI5 to put teenager at risk. 

A much better way is to capture anyone who try to kidnap them and take them into custody. 

Anyway, the plot go on with Ethan escape and then try to get intelligent from the site of his captivity. 

Too outrageous and less fun.  

The Quantum War Series #1, New author for me, very impressed. I really enjoyed this one it's action packed and the characters are well written. It's third person POV but the focus switches between Lieutenant Wyatt Wills and his Staff Sergeant Laramie McCoy. The story kind of reminds me of Resident Evil (the movies) meets The Omega Man (Yes the Charlton Heston movie) but in space. I liked the world building the descriptive narrative was wonderfully done the characters have plenty of depth. Wyatt is dealing with guilt from the last mission that cost several people their lives and him his leg. Laramie, I loved her, she's a badass chick I pictured her looking something like Rhonda Rousey. 

Wyatt's first mission back from medical leave is to take his team through the quantum gates from Proxima to Alpha Centari A and then on to the colonized planet of Juliet. All communication and interstellar travel between the two has stopped. Juliet has gone silent. What they find there is far more disturbing and deadly than dealing with pirates on Proxima.    

Overall, it was a great read. It has intense action the pacing is great. It does leave off with a bit of a teaser for the next book which has me hooked, I'll definitely read it. 

I really enjoyed this romantic suspense. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 5* rating. This grabbed my attention from the first and kept me coming back for more. Though I didn't have as much time to read as I wanted, it's the only reason it took me so long to get it read. I really fell in love with the characters and enjoyed their time together. Rocks can make a good weapon it seems. Need to read more of her books. Not for the under 18 readers.
