This is the final piece to the Judged 3 part serial. I recommend reading in order for the purposes  of understanding the story and reader enjoyment.  Also this series is intended for a mature audience of adults only.

The story leads in as we left off from the part two book where Sicily and Drake are not speaking.  Once again, something Sicily said has Drake scrambling from the pain and rejection of feeling judged for his past.  He decides to take a beat and not be around anyone for a while.

Sicily, checks in with her roommates and asks for help, since the man she was not sure of just a short time ago is making her want a future and soon.  She had talked to her older brother for advice, and he warned her away.  This in turn caused a fight - since the source she should have gone to for the information should have been Drake.

Drake has done everything he can to keep her safe.  Now he has a family emergency calling him home and he wants Sicily to go with him.  It may be the one and only time he can introduce her to his loved ones.  He has left that life behind, but he will not miss out on a chance to tell a loved one goodbye.

Seriously fast paced and full of excitement!  I loved every page and could NOT put it down!  As always, this 5 star author and series does not disappoint.  The story is really good and I give it 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

This is Part 2 of a 3 part Serial.  I recommend reading the Part 1 first, for full understanding and of course, reader enjoyment.

Sicily and Drake are still going rounds in this book.  We pick up where we left off with her being investigated for a crime everyone knows she did not commit.  Also, Drake does a little investigating on his own.

Drake is continually getting hurt trying to put himself out there and let Sicily know she means everything to him.  Until  his best friend tells him he does not think he has said it the right way.

Sicily finally talks with Drake in this story.  They share more about their personal lives as they get to know one another better.  She finally gets bold enough to tell him what she really wants.

I found this the best part yet.  We get to know more about Drake's past.  I love the character development and cannot wait for the next part!  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Sicily and Drake DeMarco have known each other since she moved to town with her two roommates.  Drake is best friend to her BFF's man, Jake.  They see each other all the time.

Drake finally gets the nerve to ask Sicily out.  She is not sure that is really what he is doing.  She thinks he is hinting she needs to join his gym for her weight being too high.  He thinks she is perfect and just wants reasons to see her more often.

Sicily owns one of the local bakeries in town.  She has gained weight since moving here and opening her shop.  She is concerned for her health, since she had a family member die of a heart attack.

Drake thinks Sicily is hot just the way she is.  Only he represents the bad boy who rides a bike her big brother told her stay away from.  Too bad she is already invested and thinks about him all the time.

I love this book!  I also love that we get to see the characters from the previous stories (Jaded and Justified.)  The story was paced well and the characters were fun to read.  I found this an amazing story and cannot wait to read the next installments!!  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Lisa and Marc's story is continued from Parts I & II in the Justified (Second Chance Romance).  This is Part 3 of a 3 part Serial. If you don't enjoy cliffhangers and partial reads for free, this might not be for you.  Warning: ** 18+ Sexual Situations and Language.

In this final installment we see Lisa trying to figure out how to win Marc back.  Does she even want him back?  Does she believe they are really in love?  Can love conquer all her fears?  She is not sure what to do.

Marc is so restless and feels like his life has no meaning.  When we last saw him, he had walked in on Lisa kissing someone else after promising to try a new relationship with him.  He has found that he is not interested in anyone else.  What used to be fun, like parties and more, is no longer appealing.  

Their friends try to help.  They encourage the couple to try again.  Start with communication and maybe try to talk in the same city.  They also recommend being patient.  Neither one of them has really even started a relationship before and it is new.

Good book and an excellent series.  Great for a gift!  I found the characters to be honest and real.  I also got insight into the next series!!  Such an amazing story, I give it 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Lisa and Marc are both suffering in this story.  They have agreed not to see one another since they live so far away and want different things for the future.  After Marc goes back to NYC, then they both notice the emptiness and pain that it causes.

Lisa is used to being with the guys she chooses and suddenly all she can think about is Marc in the bedroom.  Same for him, when he goes to have girls who blatantly want him - all he can think about is Lisa.  They are both mad this upsets their routines and then they realize what it could be.

Kari - feeling very put in the middle - tells Marc to come visit and see if he can repair this.  She sees how it is effecting them both and thinks it is a simple fix.  Is it?  If it is real love how to solve the distance between them?

Marc and Lisa both have such trust issues that they are not sure where to go from here.  Seems simple to those around them, but not always that easy to solve.  The story is fast paced and very sexy!  I enjoyed them trying to work it all out and felt their pain.  Good characters with a captivating storyline.  I give it a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
