He's not who she expected, but he's exactly the man she needs…

When Chelsea Wayne drags Santa into a supply closet for a little office party nookie, she assumes the man in the suit is her on-again/off-again coworker boyfriend. Instead, it's Rafe St. Sebastian, a man known for his hard-driving ways in business as well as the bedroom--and, kill her now, the brand spanking new owner of Las Ventanas--who grants her naughtiest Christmas wishes.

So much for her reputation, not to mention her career.

Rafe needs to close three acquisitions to prove to his father he's ready to take the helm of St. Sebastian Enterprises. A hot interlude in a supply closet after deal number two seems like the perfect illicit Christmas bonus. Unfortunately, when that "bonus" becomes the key to the final deal, he finds himself back in bed--so to speak--with Chelsea, and after their steamy tryst, he's not interested in keeping things professional...

There is nothing personal between us.”

I beg to differ. In fact, I’m fairly certain I know your deepest, darkest secret.”

I sincerely doubt that.”

He brought his mouth to her ear. “You knew I wasn’t Paul.”

No.” The denial, though immediate, sounded slightly breathless, slightly desperate.

She had to have at least suspected, at some point. He refused to believe otherwise. “Not at first. But when I had you clinging to the tables, trembling so hard you could barely stand? You knew.”

You-you’re delusional. If I’d realized you weren’t Paul, don’t you think I would have stopped you?”

No. By the time you realized, you didn’t care.” The crowd around them erupted into a countdown.

Ten... He cupped her jaw in one hand...Nine... and slid the other down her back. Then lower.

Eight... “You didn’t care about anything except my tongue tracing the path of your thong”—he let his fingers do the honor now—“all the way down until I could taste your sweet, throbbing little—”

I thought you were Paul!” Her wide eyes darted to his, pupils huge.

Five... “Remember how you used your body to beg for more? There’s no f-ing way you’ve ever begged like that for Paul Barrington. No f-ing way. I could have you begging again.”

Her breathing came in quick, shallow pants. The hands she’d rested lightly on his shoulders tightened, bunching his jacket in a white-knuckled grip. She shook her head. “Not going to happen.”

Three... He was risking getting his face slapped in the middle of a dance floor on New Year’s Eve, but he didn’t care. For some inexcusable reason, he needed to know she wanted him, not Barrington.

Two... He spread his palm over the perfect curve of her ass and hauled her against him, so she’d feel just how well he remembered every damn detail of their last meeting.

One...

It’s not?” he challenged, and then crushed her lips under his.

Cheers of “Happy New Year” echoed around them over the strains of “Auld Lang Syne.” A flotilla of black and silver balloons sailed down from the ceiling. Guests laughed, and sang, and jostled them while he kissed her. Sparkly, star- shaped confetti rained over everyone and everything, and he kept right on kissing her. Her arms twined around his neck. Her lips parted. She flattened one hand against the back of his head and held on. When he bent her over his arm and swept his tongue into her soft, yielding mouth, she wrapped her leg around his hip. The heat of her body practically seared his thigh through his tuxedo pants.

He trapped her lower lip between his teeth and nibbled. There went his no biting promise, but her shuddery moan told him she didn’t mind.

The song ended. The house lights came up a few notches. He slowly drew her upright, and even more slowly relinquished her mouth. She stared up at him, dazed, her lips plumped from their kiss.

You’re a terrible liar, Miss Wayne.”

Giving her a grin he hoped didn’t reveal how much the move cost him, he walked away.

Chelsea meets Rafe for the first time when she mistakes him for her man and hauls him into a closet and shows him a good time. Later, she finds out Rafe has just bought the hotel she works for. Then her man dumps her. So she needs space.

Chelsea moves out to Maui to manage a singles hotel with an incredible view. New Year's Eve she runs into Rafe, and is wary of his intent. She wants to keep her past behind her.

Rafe has never met a woman who he has wanted so much. This is a new feeling, but he is not questioning it. He chases her in the hopes of catching her in a temporary trap that turns the tables on himself.

Chelsea and Rafe have a good thing between them. They are gun shy from their pasts and careers. They both know if they are not careful, this will be the real thing.

I found this book funny, messy, and complicated. Just like real love. What a great book! Definitely a keeper for my shelf!  Sweet, sexy, funny and HOT!

Compromising Her Position
Compromising Her Position - Samanthe Bec... Compromising Her Position - Samanthe Beck Originally posted on Book-o-Craze, on a tour hosted by Tasty Book Tours.

This novel seemed to me like an amazing, hot and steamy read, right from the very first pages!!

Chelsea had asked from her boyfriend and coworker, Paul, to dress up as Santa for this year's Christmas work party! So when she spots the red suit she doesn't waste a minute to show her appreciation of him! In a small closet!

This was something completely unlike her, but it proved to be the best experience she had ever had so far! The complications start when she soon discovers that the Santa was not her boyfriend, but the new owner of their hotel, Rafe St. Sebastian! When Paul lets her know that he has gotten pregnant another of their coworkers and intends on marrying her, it is the final blow for Chelsea. She resigns her job and lands a new one, in another hotel, a few thousand miles away.

Rafe is a wealthy young man, willing to prove to his father that he is capable of making three deals with different hotels, all on his own! Chelsea's resignation has been a complication for him, too, seeing as she is one of the best at her work! Not to mention that after their passionate moments in that closet, he hasn't really been able to keep her out of his mind, something completely unusual for him!

While Chelsea has decided that she is not going to let herself love again after what Paul did to her, Rafe tracks her down, in order to show her that he is not done with her just yet. Both professionally and personally! She tries hard to avoid him, until he makes another deal, this time with the hotel Chelsea currently works for. In addition, he asked for her to be his personal tour guide for the whole week he is going to stay there, before the deal is sealed.

How is Chelsea going to avoid him for a whole week, when all she really wants is just the opposite?

An amazing story that got my complete attention right from the beginning! The author's writing style also helped with that! The pages flew by effortlessly, with both humorous and tense situations taing place between the two main characters.

I also loved this couple!

Chelsea was a young woman dedicated to everything she did, from her work to her relationships with other people. When she got her heart broken for yet another time, she decided to stop giving her all to the men she formed romantic relationships with. Nevertheless, she was a young, strong, independent woman I completely enjoyed reading about.

Rafe was a wealthy, young man, used to always getting what he wants, but also willing to work for it, and not just wait until it comes to him on its own! I just loved the way he tried to win over Chelsea!

I also enjoyed reading about some side characters, like Chelsea's realistic best friend and coworker, or even her mother, too!

All in all, 5 stars for an awesome, hot and steamy read, I thoroughly enjoyed!

Compromising Her Position (Compromise Me)
Compromising Her Position (Compromise Me) - Samanthe Beck Rafe and Chelsea need each other in more ways than one. Compromising Her Position is engaging and humorous. An all around good time. There are scenarios that have been written about a number of times and never get old. Samanthe Beck has found one of those with this read and made it her own. Mistaken identity leads to hilarity, lust and romance. Nothing original. Has been done before but liked it none the less. I received an ARC of Compromising Her Position in exchange for an honest review.

Compromising Her Position
Compromising Her Position - Samanthe Bec... Compromising Her Position - Samanthe Beck I absolutely loved this book, especially the beginning was too good, after that I simply couldn't put it down. I loved Chelsea and Rafe and their encounters are always so funny and romantic. This is one of the best romance novels I've read in a while and in addition to that story is passionate as well as humorous. It's a perfect package. If you are looking for romantic comedy with lots of chemistry then this one is definitely a good read.
