Rogue Be A Lady (Must Love Rogues Book 6) by Eva Devon
Rogue Be A Lady - Eva Devon

Rogue Be A Lady (Must Love Rogues Book 6) - Eva Devon

Emmaline is a well known actress in the continent ready to debut in London, ready to show all those people that condemned her without cause that she’s a survivor, and ready to show the man that cause her demise she is better off without him.
Edward cannot forgive himself for what he did to Emmaline. He knows she is what she is because of his twisted views on propriety and perfection. His family has tried to make amends but will she ever forgive him?
Sixth book in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. Even though it was a short read it still was satisfyingly romantic. The chemistry between Edward and Emmaline was palpable and their way to their HEA believable. While I would have loved it if the path to their HEA was longer, all in all it was a good read and I will definitely be reading the next book in the series and more from this author.

**I received this book at no cost to me and I volunteered to read it; this is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher**

Duke Goes Rogue (Must Love Rogues Book 3) by Eva Devon
Duke Goes Rogue (Must Love Rogues Book 3) - Eva Devon

Although I have loved pretty much everything I’ve read by this author, I’m going to have to say I liked this book but I didn’t love it.

So the Duke is supposedly a stiff man, always doing the right thing, however he and his brother did something terrible that’s been hunting them for some years. So, has he always been so strict, or did he become so after that incident? And what exactly was that they did? I waited until the end but I never got an answer to that. And when it came to the Duke being rogue, he didn’t show many signs of it. Although if you want to get technical, I suppose breaking his own rules would make him a rogue in his own mind.
Olivia was supposedly a smart and worldly woman, but it sounded like she never knew what do after she was sent packing from the Duke’s employ and was always relying on others to re-direct her life. Or perhaps it was the fact that I felt the story had too many arcs when it came to her and I felt I was being pulled in many directions.

I liked the premise of the story; I liked how it started and definitely how they reached their HEA. Overall an ok story, I just feel it didn’t have the fluidity that her other stories have had.
