My Thoughts....

What a good holiday romance read of just what can happen when a love lost will be found once again that will definite capture the wonderful feeling of the true spirit of this holiday season.  I found this short novella story to be well written from the start to the finish that will definite keep your attention. This was one of those read that will have you shaking your head as this story unfolds that tells 'the tale of a pair of lovers that were truly torn apart by the conspiracies of a particular family member.'  What will happen when all of the story comes out from traveling to Wrotham Castle?  Will these two [Merry & Alex] that had been torn apart be able to work toward their HEA?  Well, to find out you will have to pick up "With This Christmas Ring" to find out.

"Relentless Heart" by Tyora Moody

My Thoughts....

Another good read where we see the Assistant District Attorney Asia Reed is still at her job 'fighting a losing battle in the faith department.'  Now why is that...not being married at almost forty and also with no little ones. Has Asia's life career taken over her life?  Will she find that someone that is just for her.  Well, as her life goes on for some reason Asia receives a phone call from a former boyfriend who wanted to share something with her.  Are things looking up for her?  Well, not so fast for in this read Asia will have another case soon before her where she will have to come out front and center to get all the details out to bring the one guilty to justice.  Who is this new detective that is now working with Asia?  How will these two work together and will they be able  to bring this killer to justice? With all of Asia's brassiness  "Will Asia's persistence put her in the path of a killer?"  To get all of these answers and so much more answered  you will have to pick up this good Christian, mystery-thriller with suspense to see how well this author brings this well written story told so well to the readers.

"Troubled Heart" by Tyora Moody

My Thoughts...

"Troubled Heart" Book 2" by this author was another good Christian mystery suspenseful read. If you haven't read Book , I would highly suggest you do so because it will add into things that had happened earlier especially for Toni Reed. The story will pick up by Toni Reed being a Forensic artist she was being asked to help in a case that soon would involve her with a person of her past. Now, how was this? With what had happened to Toni earlier [from Book 1] and now being asked to help a person identify a attacker...it was after she had drawn the picture of this suspect from the witness Toni is left believing that it look like someone she knew personally. How could this be? I don't want to spoil it for the readers other than saying when Toni and Detective Cam Noble [a longtime friend to the Reed family] get together what will happen when he insist 'she not interfere with the case.' The story had some very interesting characters that showed what can happen when someone hurts a family member. With Toni wanting to seek out justice in wanting to help [Jade and Olivia] will this put her own life in danger? Will Detective Noble be able to come to her rescue before it's too late? To get these questions answered and so much more pick up "Troubled Heart" A Novella [The Reed Family Book 2] to find out in this short novella. I loved this 'Reed Family' in how they were always their for each other. Would I recommend? YES!

My Thoughts....

Be ready for a short, suspenseful, sexy adventurous read full of secrets, reconnections and twists that this author gives so very well to the readers. I like this friends to lovers...as was Chelsea and Jeremy had been at one time. But after Jeremy was supposed to marry someone else Chelsea leaves and would she have known that Jeremy calls off the wedding soon after she leaves. Oh well...as the story goes Chelsea leaves to get away from not only Jeremy but her strange family. As the story goes she gets the job as being a assistant district attorney but would you believe she come involved a crooked and abusive boyfriend that lead her into trouble that she finds herself having to come back home with a new identity and dyed hair. Now, this next part of the read I did find a little predictable in that Chelsea come back home [to Maine with a gun and fresh bruises] and gets involved with Jeremy and from this part I will stop here and say you must pick up the good short read and see for yourself how well this author brings it all out to the reader. Now that Chelsea is back home and Jeremy is back in her life what secrets are they keeping from each other? I liked how this author kept these secrets so well hidden. How will this play out? Will Chelsea get the help she needed fixing up her [The McCullagh Inn] that her aunt had left her from Jeremy? The problem I had with this read was that it seemed like the story comes to an end and you are left saying what? Did the action and suspense overpower the romance of the story? Oh well, it was still a good enjoyable read if you are into a short sweet friends again to lovers.
