THE AGE OF BRONZE by Rob Kidd
Age of Bronze - Rob Kidd,Walt Disney Company

Tumen wants to go home so Jack and his crew take him back where they are greeted by his family and friends. Throwing a celebration dinner and story telling cause Jack and his crew to dream of the City of Gold. Waking the next day there are persona non gratis because the amulet leading to the City of Gold is missing and Tumen's great-grandfather is ill. Knowing they did not steal the amulet leads Jack and crew to search the island where a small doll is found with the mark of Madame Minuit upon it. Now they must sail to New Orleans and find Madame and retrieve the amulet.

I enjoyed this story. It starts a little slow but once they hit New Orleans it gets exciting. We find out about Madame Minuit and more about the amulet. We also learn more about Arabella. The ending sets up their next adventure (I hope) and I am ready for it.

Lost Treasures Of The Pirates Of The Caribbean (James A. and Jeremy Owen)
Lost Treasures of the Pirates of the Caribbean - James A. Owen,Jeremy Owen

Believe me, it was completely different from what I expected. I am a great lover of the brilliant but rather unknown fantasy series

"The Chronicles Of The Imaginarium Geographica" by James A. Owen,

so I simply had to get the spin-off book. I thought it was a novel. A novel related to the fifth book. The only finished IG book was the first, though. And while the Lost Treasures are interesting for IG fans, IG might not be interesting for LT readers.

It's not a novel, it doesn't have a storyline. But it is full of interesting facts (and fictions...) and it has wonderful maps.

It also contains a riddle. Will you solve it?

I recommend it to people, that search for a delightful and fast read, to every pirate fan, to every IG lover, to every child-at-heart

If you want a really exiting fantasy book with pirates - red "The Chronicles Of The Imaginarium Geographica" - it has pirates, alongside many other exiting things :)

I have to say: five stars out of five

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Price of Freedom
The Price of Freedom (Pirates of the Caribbean) - A.C. Crispin,Ann Carol Crispin Picturing Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow was easy to do with this book. It very much seems like things that Jack would do and would not do. Jack point of view about slaves really showed how he walks on a line between good or bad. The mythology behind the magic, and history of the African island which was a little like Egypt also. It was fun to read about the lore but sometimes seemed hard to believe. Part of the story I did not like was the man who was giving Jack his job on the ship. The point of view would go to the boss and he would think of his backstory and then the book would go into the boss’ past. This part of the book I could not picture having stayed in if it was made a movie. It also just seemed pointless.

The Price of Freedom (Pirates of the Caribbean) - A.C. Crispin,Ann Carol Crispin *blinks* I...okay. This could be either really awesome or really awful. I've heard great things about Ann Crispin (RIP), so I'm hoping for "awesome."
