"Nowhere To Hide" by M'Renee Allen
All I can say is that this author warns the reader "This is a suspense novel with romantic elements and no cliffhanger. It includes adult scenes, violence and graphic language" so there is nothing left to say other than she indeed gives the readers just that! Hopefully you have read the fist series..'going Nowhere Fast Book 1 because this read continues on to Book 2. This will definitely be one of those reads that will keep your attention because there is so much going on! I not sure if I felt sorry for Melanie or what because she definitely needed so much help and it seemed like there was none of that around her. Those two brothers....Mason and Damien to me were both crazy and definitely twisted and believe me when I can there are a few more crazy characters in this story. This was definitely one of those disturbing reads where everyone needed some type of therapy due to the fact of all that was going on...from 'betrayal, sexual situations, insane, secrets, lies, manipulation, murder, graphic violence' only to name a few of this suspenseful read that one will need to process. Did this author write a well written read? Yes, I think she did definitely keeping my attention all the way to the end. So, all that is left to say... if this is your kind of read enjoy!
HUGE news! I am going to be in a book! Specifically, I’m participating in the YA villain-themed anthology, Because You Love to Hate Me curated by Ameriie, which is being published in July 2017 by Bloomsbury simultaneously in the US and UK, and as an audiobook in the US and UK. I’m not participating as an author but as a booktuber/blogger. More information below the cut! Aaaah!
You can check out Ameriie's announcement video here (and the others at their individual channels & spaces). Also theofficial Publisher's Weekly announcement here.

THE AUTHORS INVOLVED:
A sweeping retelling of the story of Scheherazade. I liked the characters and the scale of the story. Occasionally I found the prose a little clunky or overblown, but in general this was a fast paced, exciting read.
