Murphy’s Law- Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

As Satan’s Fury’s sergeant-at-arms, it was my job to stay one step ahead. It was up to me to make sure the club was ready when things went awry. I had to anticipate our enemies’ every move and plan accordingly. I couldn’t let Murphy’s Law bite me in the ass, so I created a set of rules to follow.

• The club comes first.
• Always have your brother’s back.
• Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

• Don’t buy into other people’s bullshit.

• Never let your emotions rule you.

I thought they’d prepare me for anything, but I was wrong. Nothing could’ve prepared me for Riley Nichols—the farmer’s daughter with coal-black eyes and a fiery tongue. She took me by surprise, mesmerizing me with her strength and tempting me with her innocence.

I wanted to make her mine, but having her meant breaking my rules—every last one of them.

Let's start off by saying we really love this author's series as it has some really amazing character's for us to love and fall in love with.

Murphy was a man who had a crappy childhood but, one thing he did have was the love of his high school sweetheart.Murphy joined the military to create a better life and in doing so changed his life forever. We really loved Murphy's character as he always seemed to be the quiet type and a bit of a loner but, we found that there was so much more to him living only as half a man/life but, he just needed the one women to spark something in him at that was a little old country girl named Riley.

Riley-We found to be a bit of a firecracker and she definitely had a backbone ,speaks her mind, was open minded along with being loving and caring and pretty down to earth and a bit naive.

Murphy-We found him to be a bit broken and a little loss, smart and tech savvy, funny when he let himself go and a man who thought he had nothing to give a women but, he was so wrong he just needed to let himself love again.

The story had a engaging plot with great character's.The story had drama and a plot that made us laugh out loud a time or too as well as a sweet romance that made this a really enjoyable read.

Riley and Murphy had some major chemistry going on and they really made a cute couple.Their sexual liaisons were super hot and sexy and they seemed to have a lot of fun together.Riley surprised us can you say sex kitten lol. We found her to be a riot thinking of some of her antic's have us laughing out loud just thinking about them.

My only complaint would be that I wished that there was more of a development/courtship between Riley and Murphy. We loved seeing Murphy emerge out of his dark whole and how he struggled with his feeling but, even with his struggles with his feelings his club had his back when it came to his girl. For this couple it pretty much love at first sight even if it took Murphy a little bit longer to realize it because his heart was always waring with his head. The author created the perfect ending to a very touching story and we loved it !

Recommended read to all and we also recommend the entire series.

“Lee,” my father warned. “Go inside. I’ll be there in a minute.”
Being as snarky as possible, I smiled and said, “I’d be happy to show them around for you. I’m sure they’d love to see the stables and check out the horses, or are they here for some other reason?”
I knew I was walking on thin ice. These men were most likely dangerous, but I couldn’t seem to stop myself. It was like I’d been possessed by a crazy person, and she was determined to ruin whatever business they had together. I probably would’ve kept at it if one of the bikers hadn’t taken it upon himself to get involved. As soon as he stepped forward, I realized he was the man from the bar, and it was all I could do to keep my wits about me. With his leather jacket and ass-hugging jeans, he had a rugged look about him, but that didn’t make him any less attractive. In fact, just like the night before, I found it sexy as hell. My interest in him took me by complete surprise. He and his buddies were more than likely criminals, doing God-knows-what to God-knows-who. I knew I had no business finding him or anyone like him appealing, but I couldn’t seem to help myself. I was trying to pull myself together when he removed his sunglasses and his blue eyes locked on mine. Damn, I couldn’t move. I couldn’t think. I was a complete mess. Thankfully, the spell was broken as soon as he opened his mouth.
“Hey, Lee. Why don’t you do us all a favor and just go inside like your father said?”
I was equally hurt and appalled by his unwarranted suggestion, and while I would’ve loved to tell him where to stick it, I wasn’t stupid. I knew I was up against a grizzly bear of a man. Choosing to play it safe, I replied, “I was just trying to be helpful.”
“I think we both know that isn’t true.” The look on his face left me as breathless as it did enraged. Damn. I had no idea why he got to me the way he did. His voice was low and menacing as he growled, “Now, if you don’t mind … we have business to discuss.”
Again, I had to fight the urge to snap back at him. Trying to play it cool, I took off my baseball cap and ran my fingers through my hair. With sarcasm dripping off of every word, I gave him a forced smile and replied, “Certainly. I wouldn’t want to interrupt.”
When I started for the barn, my father shouted, “Where are you going?”
I removed my sunglasses and turned towards him. “I’m taking Anna Belle for a ride. I’ll be back in a few hours.”
“Are you going alone?”
“Yep.” I continued forward, and when I strolled by the biker, I gave him a disapproving scowl. “It was a real pleasure.”

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

I was never one of those guys who bought into all that love at first sight bullsh*t.
I was all about getting in. Getting out.
No feelings. No expectations.
No complications … until her.

After just one night, Reece Winters had me thinking of white picket fences and station wagons, but I let my pride get come between us and she walked away.

Trouble was on the horizon.
It was only a matter of time before it came knocking at our door. The club was planning for it. Ready for it. Prepared for it, and so was I.

I wasn’t prepared for fate to bring her back into my life, and I certainly wasn’t prepared for the secrets that she brought with her- secrets that would connect us in ways I couldn’t begin to imagine.

Secrets that could destroy us all.

I have to say that I am really enjoying this series and its characters.

Riggs and Reese have a bit of a history and for Riggs she was the one that got away his one true regret in life.Riggs comes to th point in life where he wants change and a blast from his past is just the thing to do it.

Reese-We found her to be smart, driven, sexy, determined, independent, protective of those she loves,love-able but, we also found her to lack common sense and was a magnet for trouble.

Riggs-We found him to be sexy as sin,love-able, a computer wiz, kind, caring, protective and just a fun character all around.

The chemistry and attraction they had for another was intense from the very first moment they met and even later years they remained apart it's still there.

The current life choices of Reese have put her and her son in danger but, what she doesn't realize is that her current piece on the Cartel she is writing is going to be a big problem for Riggs and his Club.Nothing like a nosy reporter....to stir up the drama !

The story had a great plot and tons of drama,a great cast of characters that made you laugh. We also discovered a few surprises along the way.We loved the story from beginning to end.I loved the fact that Riggs and Reese got a second chance at love and happiness and of becoming a family.Quickly on both realized that they were made for one another but, pride got in the way of their own happiness but, fate  intervened to right the wrongs of ones past."We love when this happens."

We are so looking forward to the next read in this ongoing series and we are so loving its characters and we love getting to know more of them each and every story.

Recommend read to all!

Even as a kid, I knew the kind of hell the world could dish out. I grew to expect the worst and learned to face it head on. When I became Satan’s Fury’s new enforcer, I knew I could handle whatever came my way—until Alex Carpenter, the gorgeous book store owner who brought color into my world of gray.

The club was at war, fighting an unknown enemy, and she was a distraction I didn’t need nor want. My focus should’ve been on my brothers and our latest adversary, but I felt an unexplainable pull towards her. Her beauty and innocence captivated me, and just being near her made the shadows of my past seem less daunting. Without even realizing it, I let her in, but as we grew closer, I quickly realized that her walls were even more guarded than my own.

Like me, Alex had a past filled with secrets. Could our broken souls find a way to mend together, or would we remain imprisoned by our past?

I loved this story and I am loving this series as well and all the characters in it !

This was just a really cute and super sweet romance read with a little bit of drama and a tale filled with a whole lot of secrets.

Alex was a favorite of mine as she was just super sweet ,caring loving, and witty and made me laugh time and time again.

I loved Shadow as well and I loved seeing him open himself up and taking a chance on loving someone and being loved in return.Shadow was a little big broken so this was a big step for him.

Alex and Shadow were super sweet together.I loved that their romance was a little bit of a whirlwind. This couple had amazing chemistry and I love seeing them together and they we also amazing in and out of bed as we had some super sexy scenes.

I loved the plot and how it all played out.I enjoyed the fact that Alex as Shadow's Old Lady played and important part in the outcome of the story. There's a first time for everything...I found Alex to be unbelievable strong to leave it all behind to save the ones she loves. What I loved most about her was not only did she fall in love with Shadow hard and fast she did so with his MC family as well.

This story was where opposites attract and end up being just what the other needs making them perfect for one another. We loved the story from beginning to end and everything in between!

Recommended read to all!
Be sure to check out the series to as it totally awesome !

I heard the loud rumble of several motorcycles approaching, and as they got closer, I noticed something familiar about one of the men. Even in the pitch black of night, I knew it was him—the hot biker from the bookstore. I stood frozen in place as he and his friend whipped past me.
A black SUV pulled in right behind them and they all parked near the front door of Newman’s. I watched in awe as he got off his motorcycle and removed his helmet. He turned to look in my direction, and as those penetrating blue eyes locked on mine, all my sense of reason seemed to just wash away. I couldn’t move. My pulse was racing, my palms were sweating, and my hormones were raging. He looked so damn good with his dark hair tousled, and it was impossible not to notice how his jeans clung to him in all the right places. I was a complete mess. No man had ever had such an effect on me. I didn’t like it. I wanted to get into my car and shake it off, but when I realized that he was leaving his two friends to walk in my direction, my mind and body just wouldn’t cooperate. I simply stood there like a total idiot.
After he finally made his way over to me, I was surprised by his furrowed brow and intense expression. He just stood there staring at me for several seconds, and having no idea what else to do, I mumbled, “It’s you.”
“Yeah. It’s me.”
“I’m sorry … I don’t actually know your name.”
“It’s Shadow.” Before I could respond, he took a quick glance around the parking lot and asked, “You out here alone?”
“Yeah … I was just about to head home.”
“You shouldn’t be out here by yourself. It’s not safe,” he growled.
Surprised by his fierce tone, I became even more nervous and started to ramble. “I’m okay. My friends are inside. We were watching the band. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of them … the Smoking Guns. They’re pretty good. Not exactly my thing. A little loud for my taste. Not the loudest one I’ve ever been to, but close. At least I had an excuse to leave early … I have a shipment coming in tomorrow morning, so I need to be at the store early. What about you? Are you here to see the band, too?”
“Not exactly.” Without giving further explanation, he asked, “Where’s your car?”
“Um … it’s right over there,” I answered as I pointed in its direction.
He leaned to the side as he looked around me and grimaced, clearly not impressed by the state of my vehicle. “That’s your car?”
“Yeah. I know it’s not much, but it gets me to where I’m going.”
Just when I thought the moment couldn’t get any more uncomfortable, Jason stepped out of the bar, and as he glared at the burly biker standing next to me, he shouted, “Hey, Alex? You okay?”
“Yeah. I’m good. I was just about to leave.” When he didn’t move, I said, “You’re going to miss the closer if you don’t go back inside.”
“You’re sure you’re okay?”
“Yes, Jason. I’m fine.”
“Okay. Don’t forget to text me when you get home.”
“I will. Don’t worry.”
Once he was gone, I turned my attention back to my biker. He studied me for a moment, his eyes lingering on my mouth for only a fleeting moment; then, without saying a word, he started walking towards my car. Having no idea what he was doing, I just stood there trying to wrap my head around exactly what was happening. He turned around and looked over at me then said, “I thought you were leaving.”
“I am.” He cocked his eyebrow as he motioned his hand towards the driver’s side door. Feeling like a complete idiot, I rushed over to him and quickly unlocked my door.
He watched me get inside and asked, “You okay to drive?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” He again stared at me for a moment like he was trying to decide if I really was okay. “Seriously. I had one beer two hours ago. I’m fine.”
“Good.”
I expected him to step back, but he just stood there looking down at me. I felt warm all over, my heart was pounding so loudly that I was certain he could hear it. I felt my face turning red, and not wanting him to see my body’s reaction to him, I said, “Your motorcycle is really something. I bet it’s awesome to ride on a night like this.”
“It is.”
“Okay, well … I guess I better get going.” With a bit of hesitation, I put my hand on the door handle and as I started to close it, I said, “Thanks for walking me to my car.”
His expression softened as he moved out of the way and said, “Be careful.”
“I will. Thanks.”
After I closed the door, I gave him a smile and a quick wave goodbye, then started my engine. As I pulled out of the parking lot, I glanced up at my rearview mirror, and a chill ran down my spine when I noticed he was still standing in the same spot, watching intently as I drove out onto the main road.

“Damn,” I muttered to myself.
