Zom-B Underground - 3 Stars
Zom-B Underground - Darren Shan

Felt like a lot of filler until the very end. A lot of Becky just going on about the facility.

However, the facility was pretty cool. Not so much what they wanted them to do to the real zombies, even if they are already dead. I'm glad Becky didn't give in like the others, and her actions made the others thinks about what they were doing. The end was pretty cool, but poor Mark. Why was he there? Hopefully, the next book explains. The zombie process was interesting. It was unlike anything else I've heard of. Becky goes into detail about it (filler!), and it could have been shortened, but it is good to know. Glad Josh let her go in the end.

This collection is fun, entertaining, engaging and nicely-produced. A good yarn, well-told and recommended.

Windchaser (School & Library Binding) - Troy Denning
A fun book that is simple yet interesting. A well-developed plot and intricate characters make this a great read for children as well as adults. I really enjoy the world of Dinotopia and this is a great adventure.

Amelia Bedelia, Bookworm by Herman Parish
Amelia Bedelia, Bookworm (Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition) (I Can Read Books: Level 2 (Pb)) - Herman Parish,Lynn Sweat

As I've said in my previous review, I grew up with Amelia Bedelia. I read and loved a lot of her books. They are just so much fun and bizarre that I can't help but laugh when I read some of her books. This one, too, is a lot of fun. Although, I don't think it's as good as the original, it still held a lot of amusing events for the reader to enjoy. And this one takes place at a library! What's not to love!

This installment in the Amelia Bedelia series is not written by the original author, Peggy Parish. Herman Parish did a nice job with his take on Amelia Bedelia, however, I feel like his writing was a bit more disjointed than that of Peggy Parish. There are times when the reader will have to re-read certain sections since it's not made clear who is speaking. But other than that, this book was very enjoyable and I recommend any lover of books to read this for fun!
