How Can I Not Love A Book That Left Me Smiling ?
Lost and Found Sisters - Jill Shalvis

5 Stars for for a book that gave me giggles, tingles, wiggles and a big wide smile.
I adored these characters, I want to move them in next door. Quinn, the woman who lost a part of her soul when her sister died, and her past was scrambled. She was so easy to attach to. She was snarky, emotional, warm, giving and stubborn and she cooked, bonus. Mick, strong, tall, dark, sexy, dedicated, kind, giving, and good to his mom. Yums. Tilly, she was the teenager who had life hit her upside the head. This girl was not the stereotypical teen in most books, she had her drama, her back talking, and defenses in full force but she was also very lovable and unselfish. So many characters from the parents, the catty ex, to the weird old men hanging around gossiping, I loved them all, each were developed just enough never over done.
The story was a beautiful love story that dealt with finding the right place in the world. It may not be where you are planning on going. There is a lot of heart felt emotional findings in this and so much fun. Tilly's journal note at the beginning of each chapter always made me laugh.
The story touches of some sensitive subjects. Death of a sibling, child abuse, adoption, corruption, all were handled tastefully and resolved.
I gave it 5 stars for pure enjoyment I got out of the book. I am planning of re-reading this and listening to it on audio.

She dragged her Secret Around too Long
Sweet Little Lies: A Heartbreaker Bay Novel - Jill Shalvis

Honesty is a big important point in a relationship for me and this chick couldn't do it.
The story was good the characters were great except the female MC Pru. What a soggy piece of bread she was. Wishy washy, I'll do tomorrow what I should do today type. She played with other people's lives, put herself in someones life in a dishonest way and just kept making excuses not to be upfront and honest. Sure she was giving, and kind and gave up nearly everything to make up for her parents crime. But when it came to telling one man, one thing, she got all selfish ? Pffiiitt ! She blamed on her needy body. Whatever. She killed a star on the rating for me.
The rest of the cast were excellent varied people with quirky traits. I look forward to more from them, Jake most of all. Jake is a wheeling, hard body, with a huge thick streak of honor.

Complicated
Lost and Found Sisters - Jill Shalvis

Quinn has suffered a tragic loss with her sister now gone for two years.  The news she gets that sets her back even more, causes her to go looking for the why.  Arriving in the sleepy town, she finds there is someone else who suffered a loss that needs her.

Mick is just back visiting his mother.  Trying to help her move on from the pain and the house that haunts them both.  Meeting Quinn makes staying in town a bit more exciting.  She is in need of a steady hand, and it could be his that helps her up.

Sweet and fragile are two words I thought while reading this novel.  It has many great pieces that make it fun and still the author's work.  I just found it a bit slower than the norm.  The high points were the sexy times and the banter.  You should never miss those.  I give this story a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
