Blog Tour with Excerpt, Q&A, Early Review & Bonus Review! Summoned to Thirteenth Grave (Charley Davidson #13) Darynda Jones!

Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in the final installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series!

Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity—which is exactly the amount of time it takes to make a person stark, raving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.

She’s missed her daughter. She’s missed Reyes. She’s missed Cookie and Garrett and Uncle Bob. Now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine for a broken heart? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious novel.

OMG! What an explosive and stunning conclusion to the Charley Davidson world! While readers may be disappointed that the series is ending, there is no way for readers to be disappointed in this climatic ending that is such an unexpected outcome! Readers also can’t help but agree that ending the series with the thirteenth book is quite appropriate as the number thirteen has such notoriety to it. The strong, bold characters of this series have continuously wowed readers with fun, sass, and thrills throughout this excellent series and they fulfill their reputation in the final book as they all come together to save the world.

The relationship between Reyes and Charley has always been unique and passionate and the conclusion of this book keeps that tradition going which invokes numerous emotions from readers but they have to admit that it is quite fitting. As always, the story is full of adrenaline pumping suspense, excitement and sass that readers have come to love although this book may actually surpass the overall explosive and thrilling feel of the previous stories. Maybe that’s because the series is ending or maybe it’s because of the whole world ending danger that flows throughout this fast paced story. While readers may be sorry to see Charley go, they can’t wait to find out what the author has in store for readers next.

It wasn’t until I felt the sun on my face that I really knew I’d made it back. The bright orb drifted over the horizon like a hot air balloon, blinding me, yet I couldn’t stop looking at it. Or, well, trying to look at it. After giving it my all through squinted lids, I gave up and closed them. Let the warmth wash over me. Let it sink into my skin. Flood every molecule in my body.

God knew I needed it. I hadn’t had a drop of vitamin D in over a hundred years. My bones were probably brittle and shriveled and splintery. Much like the current state of my psyche.

But that’s what happens when you defy a god.

Not just any god, mind you. No siree Bob. To get booted off the big blue marble, one had to defy the GOD. The very One a particular set of children’s books called Jehovahn. The man had some serious control issues. I bring one person back from the dead and bam. Banished for all eternity. Exiled to a hell with no light, no hair products, and no coffee.

Mostly no coffee.

Q&A with Darynda Jones

How did you come up with Charley?

So, I’m lying in bed one morning, waiting for my turn in the shower, when Charley popped into my head in all her glory. I loved her from the get-go. I will add that I was looking for her. I had just typed The End on my second complete manuscript, a YA titled Death and the Girl Next Door which later sold to my amazing editor along with the Charley books. So, I was craving another project. I knew I wanted it to be adult and paranormal. That was all I had. And then Charley walked in.

What has it been like to planning and writing this series, and how does it feel to be wrapping it up?

I had no clue! I dreamed, of course. We all do that. But for that dream to become a reality…it’s quite surreal. I have the best job in the world. Planning and writing the last two books have been bittersweet. I love writing these books so much, so the fact that it’s coming to an end is a little heartbreaking, but I want to go out with a bang. Like a HUGE one. I hope everyone loves reading them as much as I’ve loved writing them.

Are there any side characters or plots you wish you would have developed more?

Actually, yes. In Fifth Grave Past the Light, I brought in a character named Nicolette Lemay, gave her an insanely cool gift, then never brought her back in again. We see her briefly in Twelfth Grave, but I wish I’d done more with her.

Can you give us a sneak peek into how it all ends? What do you hope readers feel as they reach the last page?

I am very hopeful that readers will feel a sense of happiness, closure and (dare I dream?) euphoria. All I can say is that this book is truly darkest before the dawn. Charley and Reyes have accidentally opened a hell dimension within our own, and they have to figure out how to close it before it takes over the world. But it’s expanding exponentially, and soon there will be nothing left of the world as we know it. But with a little help from Charley's departed mother, one clue leads Charley in the right direction and, hopefully, to the secret to stopping the hell dimension and save all of humanity. Sadly, she only has three days to do it.

What's the next project you're working on?

Right now I am working on a brand new series, a trilogy set in a small town in New Mexico with a sheriff named Sunshine, a missing girl named Olivia, and a murder suspect named Levi. Too bad she is in way over her head, especially since the missing girl is her daughter's best friend and Sunshine has been in love with Levi since she could breathe.

BONUS REVIEW
Second Grave on the Left!

If you hang around with dead people, life can get pretty complicated. Take it from Charley Davidson, part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper.

Complicated is her middle name. The deceased find her very sparkly. Demons find her irresistible. And one entity in particular wants to seduce her in every way possible.

When Charley and Cookie (her best friend/receptionist) have to track down a missing woman, the case is not quite as open and shut as they anticipate. Cookie's friend Mimi disappeared five days earlier. Mimi then sends Cookie a cryptic message telling Cookie to meet her at an nearby coffee shop. The coffee is brewing, but Mimi's still missing. There is, however, a clue Mimi left on the bathroom wall: a woman's name. Mimi's husband explains to them that his wife had been acting strange since she found out an old high school friend had been murdered. The same woman whose name Mimi had scribbled on the bathroom wall.

Meanwhile, Reyes Alexander Farrow (otherwise known as the Son of Satan. Yes. Literally) has left his corporeal body and is haunting Charley. He's left his body because he's being tortured by demons who want to lure Charley closer. But Reyes can't let that happen. Because if the demons get to Charley, they'll have a portal to heaven...well, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty.

Can Charley handle hot nights with Reyes and even hotter days tracking down a missing woman? Can she keep those she loves out of harm's way? And is there enough coffee and chocolate in the world to fuel her as she does?

Here is your signpost for the most hilarious read of the year: Second Grave on the Left.

Sensational and suspenseful, the second book in the Charley Davidson series has readers holding their breath in anticipation of what happens next. Charley as well as all the characters in the series are strong, vivid characters that easily draw readers into their world, but Charley and Reyes still the show. Charley is smart, fun and fully of sass as she kicks butt while solving crimes and Reyes is oh so dominate, a true bad a** that has readers melting on the spot. The fun and snarky dialogue adds a lighthearted atmosphere to the story but at the same time, readers can feel the importance of every scene. Charley and Reyes has lots of electrical chemistry that produces plenty of sparks but this relationship is in no way typical and has some major obstacles.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot is full of non-stop excitement and thrills including surprising twists and turns that keeps readers guessing. Not is Charley for a missing woman which turns out to be more complicated and dangerous than she originally thought, but she’s also searching for Reyes’ body and he’s being quite stubborn, then there are things going with her family and secrets being revealed. There always something going on in Charley’s world and readers can’t help but become completely engrossed in this novel.

Kiss Me at Christmas

A Playful Brides Novel Valerie Bowman

Not every leading lady finds love, gets married and sustains a domestic life. What about the ladies who were never swept off their feet? Do they take matters into their own hands? In the delightful addition to Valerie Bowman’s Regency-set Playful Brides series, Regina has written off the prospect of marriage, but she still would very much like a pleasurable distraction in her life. KISS ME AT CHRISTMAS (St. Martin’s Paperbacks, October 30, 2018, $7.99), connects a headstrong spinster and a noble Bow Street Runner tasked with protecting her during Christmas time in London.

Bow Street Runner Daffin Oakleaf abhors Christmas. Caroling and holiday cheer only remind him of a dark time. When a close friend calls on him for help, Daffin is happy to capitalize on the
distraction. But when he learns the lovely Lady Regina is the one in danger, he’s to become bodyguard to the captivating woman...

Regina has one mission: to find a night of passion in the arms of a gentleman. Considered firmly on the shelf, Regina has given up on marriage—but that doesn’t mean she wants to be denied the pleasure married ladies experience. Daffin has long captured her attention…and when a threat calls him to her side, the sparks between them ignite. But how can a hired bodyguard find his way into Regina’s reserved heart?

Chapter Excerpt

CHAPTER ONE London, December 1818
Lady Regina Haversham’s thirtieth birthday was precisely one month away, which  didn’t leave her much time to lose her virginity. Not that she wanted it lost. She wanted to know where it went and choose to whom she gave the dratted  thing. Her coach came to a stop in front of the offices of the Bow Street Runners in central London, and she drew in a deep, unsteady breath. She pressed her hands deeper into the white fur muff that sat atop her lap and willed her pounding heart to slow its ner vous beat. Christmastide was her favorite time of year. She was in high spirits, but she was also as ner vous as a young lady making her debut on her way to see the queen. This par tic u lar outing had  every chance to end in disaster. She glanced out the win dow. She prob ably should have hired a hackney. It would have been less con spic u ous than her  uncle’s resplendent coach.  There  were already several onlookers staring up at the black- lacquered conveyance with
2 Valerie Bowman
the Duke of Colchester’s seal on the side. She glanced down at her clothing. No doubt her ensemble was too elegant for marching into the offices of the best private investigative team in London, but she had no other clothing to wear, and this par tic u lar message was best delivered in person. She
didn’t know Daffin Oakleaf’s home address, and she hardly thought a note to him for what she had in mind would be appropriate. No. Regardless of the stares, she had to see him in person. Regina had settled on the perfect birthday gift to herself. She would spend the night with a man. Not just any man. The finest candidate. One who had the face and body of a Greek god. Thirty years old. Tall, fit, and handsome. Blond hair and green eyes that held a twinkle she found irresistible.
She’d met him last summer at her  uncle’s estate. Her  family had been gathered  there for the unfortunate purpose of her cousin, the marquess’s, funeral. John had been murdered, and inappropriate or not, the man Regina had come to covet was the Bow Street Runner who’d helped investigate his murder. She  hadn’t seen Daffin since he’d left the estate that hot July day taking away the two murderers in shackles. Rarely a day passed since that Regina  didn’t think of him.  She’d read about him in the paper, too. Lately,  there’d been a series of articles in the Times focusing on his exploits. He’d caught criminal  after criminal and, according to her cousin Nicole, made hefty bounties  doing it. Now that Regina’s period of mourning was over and her  uncle was forcing the issue of her marriage, Regina was  here to ask Daffin Oakleaf, legendary Bow Street Runner, to make mad, passionate love to her. Her stomach performed a somersault. Could nerves make
 Kiss me at Christmas 3
one physically ill? She suspected they could. Suspected hers would. She winced. It  wouldn’t do to cast up her accounts in front of the man. That certainly  wouldn’t attract him. She glanced at her maid, who sat on the seat facing her, back ramrod straight. If the proper young  woman knew what Regina was thinking, no doubt  she’d be scandalized. Precisely why Regina had said as  little as pos si ble about their outing  today. Genevieve  hadn’t asked many questions. Thank heavens. The coachman opened the door and Regina took one more deep breath. “Wait  here,” she said to Genevieve. “I  shouldn’t be long.”
After all, how long could an indecent proposal possibly take?

CHAPTER TWO
Daffin Oakleaf pushed himself away from his office desk and scrubbed both hands across his face. He was tired. Bone tired. He hated Christmastide. He’d been  running himself ragged chasing a particularly nasty thief across London for the last fortnight. Daffin had nearly had him, or so he thought, when a clue he’d been pursuing had turned to nothing. He was back to the start of his investigation, and severely out of sorts. Daffin loved his work. It was perfect for him, and it had made him a wealthy man, but days like this  were frustrating as hell. He much preferred to be taking down criminals and delivering them to gaol, instead of pacing his office with  little to go on while they roamed  free. He was obsessed with each one of his cases, but this one kept him up at night. This case made his blood boil. A child had been injured by the bloody thief, and if  there was one
thing Daffin  couldn’t countenance, it was a grown man being
 Kiss me at Christmas 5
violent with a child. He would track down this monster if it was the last  thing he did. Most of Daffin’s investigations  were done with the promise of a hefty purse at the end, but he was  doing this one for
free. He always took on a case or two for charity at Christmastide. It was the least he could do. Not to mention it kept his mind from the blasted season. Focusing on his cases made the holiday easier to ignore. Easier to forget. He pulled a notebook from his inner coat pocket and scanned the words he’d written on the case so far. Perhaps he’d missed something, some detail that would fi nally lead him down the right path to Henry Vickery. “Oakleaf!” came the voice of Paul, the secretary, who sat out in the offices’ main room and fielded inquiries from
people who came in off the street. “I’m busy,” Daffin called back, not in any mood to be taken away from his case. It was prob ably someone  else who’d read about him in the paper and wanted to make his acquaintance. The papers hounded him of late. One reporter in partic u lar. Mr. H. J. Hancock. The man seemed obsessed with following Daffin’s cases. Week  after week, for months now Daffin had been mentioned in his articles. The stories made him sound like a bloody hero. They described how he chased down bad men in the dark of night, vaulting over walls, climbing up to rooftops, and taking more than one bullet. He’d never have answered the reporter’s bloody questions if he’d known the man would go and write  things like that. Being a hero  wasn’t Daffin’s purpose. Never had been. He did his work to put the scum of society  behind bars. To get evil  people off the street. To spare their  future victims.

Author

VALERIE BOWMAN grew up in Illinois with six sisters (she’s number seven) and a huge supply of historical romance novels. After a cold and snowy stint earning a degree in English with a minor in history at Smith College, she moved to Florida the first chance she got. Valerie now lives in Jacksonville with her family including her mini-schnauzer, Huckleberry. When she’s not writing, she keeps busy reading, traveling, or vacillating between watching crazy reality TV and PBS. She is the author of the Secret Brides series and the Playful Brides series.

My Review
5 Stars
KISS ME AT CHRISTMAS by Valerie Bowman is book 10 in the Playful Brides series.  This is the story of Regina and Daffin. I feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Regina is nearing 30 years old and headed to the 'shelf' although her Uncle wishes her to marry a neighbor to benefit him.  Daffin has been attracted to Regina from first site but knows that him being a Bow Street Runner puts him out of her class.  But Regina finds him attractive too and wishes to know what passion is before its to late for her.  So when her life becomes in danger and Daffin is the man to help save her...their feelings start to take off.
I am such a fan of Ms. Bowman's so I know I am getting a great story when I see her name on a book.  Just loved this one!

Release Day Review! Christmas At the Chalet by Anita Hughes!

A delicious love story about a bridal designer showing her new collection in the Alps during the magical week of Christmas where hijinx of the heart ensue.

It's the day after Christmas, and Felicity Grant is at a gorgeous ski chalet in St. Moritz for the biggest fashion show of her career. Felicity is a rising star on the bridal design scene, and this is her best collection yet. But when her boyfriend gives her a spa day instead of a diamond ring for Christmas, she has to face the possibility that she may never walk down the aisle in one of her own stunning designs.

And then there's Nell, the top model headlining Felicity's show. Nell is planning her dream wedding to her wonderful fiance with one catch: her divorced parents can't stand each other and threaten to no-show if the other is there.

Add to that Felicity's race against the clock to create a special gown for a prestigious bridal salon, and what both girls need is a Christmas miracle. What better place to find one than in the Swiss Alps with its dark forests and sparkling vistas?

But for Felicity it's hard to recognize a miracle even when it's right in front of her, and for Nell one miracle might not be enough to fix the past. Can dreams really come true or is that the stuff of Swiss fairytales?

Anita Hughes's Christmas at the Chalet is full of romance, gorgeous gowns, and the stunning scenery of the Swiss Alps. It's about love and forgiveness, and creating one's own miracles during the most festive time of year.

A delightful exotic Christmas love story with strong, compelling characters that pull readers into their story. The holidays are a time that readers can expect miracles in their romance and this story certainly lives up to that expectation as Felicity Grant and Nell both wish for a Christmas miracle. Felicity is a successful bridal designer who’s beginning to think that she will never where one of her own designs since her longtime boyfriend still hasn’t popped the question and seems to be resisting getting married at all. Nell is one of Felicity’s models and she trying to plan her dream wedding, only problem is her parents refuse to be in the same room as the other. As hijinks ensure in a wonderfully exotic setting, this fast paced plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of intriguing events and emotional turbulence that ensures that readers are rooting for those Christmas miracles for Felicity and Nell. Added suspense comes from Felicity’s career as a prestigious bridal salon is interested in her designs and she meets a Doctor that is a knight in shining armor, at least he is for Felicity. Meanwhile, Nell’s parents have both joined Nell in St. Moritz for the fashion show and Nell has to keep them apart. The story is a delightfully charming read that causes some chuckling and some feel good emotions in readers and the Felicity’s romance is a bit different and doesn’t turn out the way most readers would expect.

Even if Gray didn’t have his hands full renovating his crumbling country house, it would take more than a bold marriage proposal from a headstrong young beauty to thaw his frozen heart. Gray is confident that spending a week at his ramshackle estate will change her mind about marriage, but every passionate moment he spends with her tempts him to change his…

A talented artist, Miss Fiona Hartley desperately needs her dowry money to pay off a blackmailer set on ruining her sister. The handsome earl seems a sensible choice for a husband…if only she can convince him that romance will play no part. But marrying in name only may prove difficult for Fiona. Gray can’t help but be dazzled by her genuine warmth. Yet as their feelings deepen, Fiona’s deadline looms. Will her secrets destroy them, or is true love their final destiny?

       Excerpt
“Lord Ravenport,” Lady Callahan intoned, closing her fan with an expert flick of the wrist. “Please, allow me to present my daughter Miss Sophie Kendall and her friends Miss Fiona Hartley and Miss Lily Hartley.”
Gray exchanged the expected pleasantries, then turned to Fiona. A halo of loose curls crowned her head, and she worried her plump bottom lip. Her pink gown exposed the long column of her neck and the curve of her shoulders; he could almost see her pulse beating wildly at the base of her throat.
His instincts screamed for him to run right out of the ballroom, and yet his boots remained rooted to the floor. Worse, before he knew what he was doing he’d asked her to dance.
“It would be my pleasure,” she stammered, taking his arm.
As he led her to the dance floor he questioned his own good judgment—and not for the first time that day. He’d witnessed Miss Hartley trip and tumble into the orchestra at the Millbrook ball. He’d been dancing with Helena at the time but had paused to help her up.
So much had changed since then.
He had no idea if Miss Hartley’s dance partner had been to blame for the incident or whether she was prone to

falling, but just to be safe he tightened his hand on her waist. And they began moving to the music.
The first measure had barely played before she asked, “You received my letter?”
“I did,” he said noncommittally, twirling her beneath his raised arm.
When she faced him again, she looked him directly in the eye. “What do you think of my . . . offer?” she asked, her voice cracking on the final word.
He tamped down an unexpected pang of sympathy. “I think that we hardly know each other.”
“True, but that is easily rectified, is it not?” There it was—an unmistakable hint of desperation. And a sense of urgency that even her letter hadn’t conveyed.
“It is,” he conceded. “However, I suspect that the more we know each other, the less we’ll like each other.” Cynical but true in his experience. His parents certainly hadn’t grown fonder of each other. Neither had he and Helena.
She winced and looked away before regaining her composure. “Perhaps. But we needn’t like each other.”
Gray chuckled at that. “I never thought I’d meet some one more jaded than I.”
“So, you’ll consider my offer?” she pressed.
“I will not,” he said firmly. Under different circum stances, her fortune may have tempted him. But she was clearly intent on using him for her own purpose—and he suspected that she’d set her sights on him for reasons be yond his title. After all, there were half a dozen peers in attendance right now who’d leap at the chance to marry a young and unconventionally beautiful heiress.
But he was not one of them.
“It seems rather closedminded of you to dismiss me summarily,” she shot back, displaying a boldness that was borderline rude—and refreshing.

“If I said I’d consider your offer, I’d only be giving you false hope. Delaying the inevitable.”
“The inevitable rejection, you mean,” she clarified. “Yes.” He was still reeling from the sting of Helena’s
rebuff and wouldn’t wish anyone that sort of pain and humiliation.
“Please,” she begged. “I realize that it’s highly unusual for a woman to propose marriage—”
“It’s unheard of.”
“Surely you must be curious—as to why I did it.” She looked up at him, her shining blue eyes challenging him to deny the truth of her words.
Gray shrugged. “You have your reasons for making the offer; I have my reasons for declining it.”
“Give me the opportunity to explain,” she pleaded. “Just a quarter of an hour to make my case. If, after that, you remain unconvinced, I promise I shan’t mention it again.” He must be out of his damned mind to consider engag ing in further discussion with Miss Hartley. The very last thing he needed was another conniving, selfserving fe male attempting to interfere with his life. He had opened his mouth to tell her so when someone bumped into his
back—hard.
Gray’s torso collided with Miss Hartley’s chest, and she stumbled two steps before he wrapped an arm around her slender waist, catching her just before she landed on the parquet floor. She gasped and clung to his jacket, her ex pression an odd mix of relief and mortification.
“Oh dear,” she breathed.
Their faces were so close he could see unexpected dark blue flecks in her irises and the individual freckles dotting her nose. “Forgive me,” he said.
“For what?”
For what indeed? Steering her into the collision? Grip

ping her waist too tightly? Or for staring at the swells of her breasts and having decidedly wicked thoughts while he should have been shielding her from further embar rassment? Ignoring her question, he asked, “Are you all right?”
“I am.” Her cheeks turned a charming shade of pink. She blew out a breath and shot him a shaky smile. “When it comes to dance floor mishaps, I confess I’ve survived much worse.”
Gray looked over his shoulder to see how the other couple fared, surprised to find Helena and her dance part ner smiling apologetically.
And the truth struck him. For the last ten minutes, while he’d been dancing with Miss Hartley, he’d been completely, blissfully unaware of Helena and what she was doing. Even more remarkable, he’d forgotten that she was in the room. “Meet me in Hyde Park tomorrow,” he said to Miss Hartley, mentally cursing his own weakness. “I will listen to what you have to say, but don’t expect anything to
change my mind.”
The corners of her mouth curled in a triumphant smile. “Thank you. All I ask is that you allow me the chance to explain the advantages of the arrangement—for us both.” “Forgive me if I remain skeptical,” he drawled. “I’ll
meet you near the footbridge. Three o’clock?”
“You won’t regret this,” she said earnestly, but the prick ling sensation between his shoulder blades suggested he would. In spite of her naïveté and candor—or maybe because of those things—Miss Hartley could prove far more dangerous to him than Helena had ever been.

New Release Review! Stygian (Dark Hunters #27 / Hunter Legends #43) Sherrilyn Kenyon!

-MAJOR SPOILER WARNING-
While the books don’t have to be read in order, if you haven’t read Dragonsworn, this synopsis will contain massive spoilers for DS. We just wanted to warn you!
-MAJOR SPOILER WARNING-

Born before man recorded time, I lived for thousands of years, believing myself to be something I’m not.

Someone I’m not.

Lied to and betrayed by gods, Daimons, and Dark-Hunters, I’ve struggled to find my way in a world where I’ve been cursed since the moment a vengeful goddess prematurely ripped me from my mother and planted me into the womb of an innocent woman who thought me her son.

Trained as a slayer and predator, I’ve learned to fit in and stay low. To become a tool for evil. Until I was sent to kill the one woman I couldn’t. My hesitation cost her, her life.

Or so I thought. In an act of betrayal that makes all the others pale in comparison, I’ve learned that things are not what they seem in this world and that my Phoebe still lives.

Now I will have to travel into the very pits of Hades to try and save her, even as everyone around me attempts to steal what little soul I have left. There’s only one person at my back and I’m not sure I can trust her either, for she was born of an enemy race. Yet sometimes the road to redemption is one that singes us to our very core. And if I fail to find the answers I need to save Phoebe, more than just my wife will die.

We will lose the world. Both human and Daimon.

~Urian of the House of Aricles

Be prepared for a turbulent, addictive and thrilling experience as Sherrilyn Kenyon brings Urian’s story to life in a long but excellent read that provokes a roller coaster of emotions as it keeps readers mesmerized throughout its the numerous years and settings. All of the characters in this story are solid, convincing characters that readers can’t help but be fascinated by, of course, if you read the Dark Hunter series, then you already know and love all of them and this book gives readers more detail in to their lives as well and also introduces some new characters. Urian has been a favorite since he was first introduced and this book just makes him all the more captivating as it gives readers an in depth look at his very long lifespan. The romance part of his life is troubled which is just one of many things that tugs at readers’ hearts but in a surprising twist, his happily ever after mate is not one that readers could anticipate and brings about a few other bombshells as well.

There is lots of exciting events, some of which readers would have read from other points of view in others’ stories, and getting them from Urian’s point of view puts a whole new spin on them when taken all together. These stories should be read in order because while this book gets into these events, it does not give whole picture and without that readers may not be able achieve maximum enjoyment of this book as it hops through a very long, troubled and thrilling history of Urian’s life story. Readers won’t want to put this book down, but will probably find that they have to because not only is it long but they will want to meticulously and covetously read every last word to ensure that they don’t miss a single important detail in any of Urian’s life experiences and interactions with the other characters of this spectacular world.
