Don't Kiss Your Enemy, Victorine E Lieske

This was ok for a clean teen read. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. I think my granddaughters would enjoy it. The one thing that bothered me the most was that the parent's were absent a little too much. Of course in this day and age, many are left to their own devices.

My Christmas Break Mistake, Anne-Marie Meyer

I have mixed feelings about this tween read. I received this for free and chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating.Good concept but the characters gave out mixed signals. At a time when hormones and feelings run high, this was a tough situation. There is a lot of tough talk and negative responses. Clearly, both hero and heroine still have a lot of growing up to do. A good ending after some good communication between them.

Gabriella Gigabyte, Tom Sims

I enjoyed this Tween Read. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4.5* rating. This young computer nerd, takes on investigation and danger along with Cupcake, with a desire to answer questions. With her dreams adding more questions to her life, she drags her young friends into her never ending need for answers. I'll be passing this on to my grandchildren.

Jake the Fake Keeps It Real, Craig Robinson
Jake the Fake Keeps it Real - Craig Robinson,Keith Knight,Adam Mansbach

This was a funny middle-grade or tween book. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. This was humorous with lots of artwork sprinkled throughout the book. Basically the humor was the type a teen would understand and enjoy but the older of us could get a laugh or two from also. It's a bit wacky for my tastes but then I'm a grandma age.
