Thanks - I run Ghostery, so I'll keep an eye on it. It's happened on two posts so far, but none others, so 50/50 it's just a glitch on my end. I don't remember seeing CloudFlare either, so maybe there's progress...

No, so far I'm not seeing it anymore either - it truly might have just been a glitch on my end; I haven't restarted the old mac in um...a couple of weeks at least. It's just lately when something goes pear shaped here odds are it's BL's issues. :P

I had a sort of similar but different problem maybe half an hour ago. There was a post a little ways down on my Dashboard (we’ll call it Post B) that I was trying to view comments for. Every time I tried to expand the comments, BL would bump me back to a post at the top of my dashboard (Post A). I’d previously expanded the comments on Post A, and it still showed me the correct comments associated with Post A, but it refused to let me see the comments on Post B. Every time I scrolled back down and tried to expand them, it jumped me back up to the comments under Post A.

I finally gave up and opened Post B in the blog view so I could read the comments and that worked fine. I didn’t see the problem again, but I didn’t have many new posts to read at that point.

Interesting - this is almost exactly what happened to me - at about the exact same time. (Same behaviour except it was embedding Post B's comments into Post A's post, with Post A's expanded comments in their proper place.)

Perhaps we hit it during a transition in coding or uploading... hopefully. I'm still working my way down my dash and I haven't run into it again.

Or it was just a combination of reference IDs or data of some sort that caused the same old code to take an unusual execution path. We discover bugs at work from code that’s years old, sometimes decades old, when an unusual combination of data brings them to light.

Actually, I am seeing the exact same thing you were, I think. I just tried expanding comments on that same post from the dashboard again, and it bumped me up again, and there was a post near there with the comments embedded. I probably just didn’t notice it before because I was focused on the comment sections.

It’s my new favorite shirt. I usually never wear t-shirts with writing, or even t-shirts with logos, but I couldn't resist that one. :)

I would like to report a MAJOR bug.

I cannot make a Text post. I hit "Text," and about 5 seconds after that (certainly before I can type anything), the space in which I would type disappears. All I am left with are the space in which to provide a title, and "How do you feel about this?"

HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO POST? I feel SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATED, now that you ask.

I'm not having this problem - but someone in a discussion thread earlier reported not seeing the tools along the top of the post box and that was resolved as being related to NoScript blocking CloudFront.

Do you have anything like that screening scripts? The CloudFront seems to be brand spanking new, and everyone who has white listed it has reported success.

I think it was Ad Block. I seem to have whitelisted it, and the text window now remains? That was weird.

Good news! I had to white list BL in Ghostery ages ago because something wasn't working (might have been the post box), but I haven't had any issues with Ad-block.

A co-worker ran across a photo of the shirt online somewhere, I’m not sure where, and sent it to me after a particular incident at work.
