No problem!
So... I just read 50 pages of this tread, because I am writing blog post about situation on BL and I saw someone talking about SpeedUp Group involvement with BL. I don't know if it helps in any way, but they also own Lubimyczytać.pl, which is basically polish GoodRead – it's the biggest book site in Poland. It is more popular and well-known and has a bigger impact on polish bookmarket than BL so maybe they are focused more on that site rather than BL.

Sorry for any language mistakes, polish user here.

Thanks for that information - and your English was perfect and very easy to understand. :)

I hope BL doesn't get too overlooked then - yikes.

Your English is just fine. :) Thank you so much for telling us this. I have to second MbD's "yikes".
Sombre news delivered in bright and clear English! :(
Well, we can take heart that they are making improvements in the background; CloudFlare is definitely new and it has definitely improved the site's performance 100 fold over the last few weeks. And while the other site might be vastly more popular within Poland, BookLikes has a larger international user base which gives it far greater potential for growth. :)
Thank you all, good to know my english make sense :) I don't write much in english but I read a lot.

Well, for some time BL was awfully slow but it gets better recently. I think they just lost people and now there is only one guy trying to keep it going and just don't have a time to talk with us. Maybe he is just drowning in programming work. Also, Iurii Ganushchak sound more russian than polish so maybe there are some extra communication problems. I don't know, I hope soon the team will have more people/time/energy . Still love this site :)

I think you're right; I think they're down to one programmer, who seems to be new (lurii mentioned a staff change back in May), and the owners have moved to Berlin at the same time. So maybe this was just a really bad time and they'll rebuild a team that can get BookLikes going again. I hope.

As I'm sure you were able to see, reading all the old posts, we're all madly in love with this site. :)
Any word on the outage yesterday?
My page breaks keep disappearing. I've tried inserting them (with the button) and then saving as draft. I've tried inserting them just before I post. Currently the only thing that works is to actually publish the post and then Edit & insert it.
Need help?
