Fifteen minutes to post one review this morning. Now it won't post another review at all. I can preview it but not post it or save it as a draft. It just . . . . . . nothing. I'm able to post comments, but not a review. Seriously sucks.

I was just able to post my status update, but it took a really long time and at one point I thought I'd lost it.
I imaging the site's probably going to crash soon and then we'll have to wait (again) for somebody to wake up in Poland...
I was having these problems earlier in the day but it's going snappy for me now in regards to posting, so maybe try again.
It's been a lot faster for me too over, say, the last hour and a half or so.

Thanks. It seems to be working for me again too (BL -> GR synching)
Just came back in from gardening and you're right - it's sped right back up again. Yay!

Thanks! That seemed to do the trick. Although, I don't see why they couldn't have told me earlier when I mailed them.

I don't think anyone is answering their emails at the moment. Lots of speculation about, but it seems they are down at least one person and the owners just had a new baby last month, so they won't be pitching in. Hopefully they'll find someone new who will start communicating with their users.
Things are still sluggish for me. Goodreads is fine so I know it's not a problem with my internet service or my PC. I'm not trying to be negative but I am completely frustrated by the lack of any site owner feedback. I don't understand why someone, anyone, can't comment and let us know the status of the site. It takes less than five minutes. I had two babies and worked full time and walked ten miles to work in the snow (haha) but, seriously, things were never so hectic that I couldn't find five minutes to myself. If they cared about the community or the site at all you'd think someone would say something if only to keep people hanging around. It just feels like they have completely lost interest.

I think they've just decided to be anti-social. If they'd lost interest completely, wouldn't they have just shut the site down?
I don't know because they won't say anything. What is the point of being anti-social when you're trying to build a social site? We are being ignored and that does not give me any warm fuzzy feelings towards the site. I'm just about done, to be honest. I feel like I'm wasting so much of my free time just trying to leave a comment or edit a post, time that could, and probably should, be spent reading.
I've stopped tracking my reading here. It's just too frustrating to wait for screen loads and posts. I keep checking in though.

And if the lack of communication is due to the only person (people? but I'm guessing "person" is more likely) left not being confident about their English, I'd totally take something in any other language. Between BL's multi-lingual user base and Google translate, we should be able to figure out what's being said.

Sadly, I am feeling the same OBD. Exactly the same.
