No problem - it helps to have a context behind all the confusing things that have been going on here. I know it will help me be a lot more patient when things here get slow. I hope their whole family has heath and happiness to look forward to.

FB isn't the source; Yes, I got it from FaceBook, but I copied it directly from her post on her feed, not from a share or a repost and it was only 11 hours old when I saw it on my feed. I have no reason to believe she'd just make it up and I can't imagine she'd have anything to gain by doing so.

As I said to someone else who mentioned the same thing (re: a notice here) in my post comments, I can't truthfully say if I'd been told all at once that
1. I was pregnant,
2. I had cancer, and my doctors couldn't/wouldn't treat me for ethical/legal reasons and
3. I had to move my entire life and family to another country -now- if I had any hope of surviving/having a healthy child

that I would have given any thought to this site or any other site at all, so I can't/won't play critic from the sidelines. I think the whole thing is made more complicated because they lost a key person about a month before all this happened and lost another key person right after it happened, and a third in July, so they've been working with a skeleton crew who likely don't know them well and are suddenly working remotely (BL is still in Poland, while Joanna and Dawid are in Germany).

Given all this I think it's a bloody miracle the site still even exists and it tells me they're still invested in it to some degree, as it would have been much simpler for them to just shut it down.

I can't say I argue with anything here.

My earlier contention that they went anti-social was, in my mind, correct, but the context makes me far more patient with them. The site is still up and has been working fairly well for me since I disabled my ad blocker for this site.

I hope that they can at least keep this site up until they're in a better place, or find someone to take temporary control if not.

Man, I feel for them -- and yes, this does put things in perspective in a big way. I just hope someone is going to get their act together sooner rather than later! With these latest slower-than-molasses periods and other woes, it seems the community is crumbling worse than ever.
Oh, I had no idea they were going through something like this. I really hope they'll be ok.
Well, it's not letting me post again (disappearing form on Text). Anyone have any thoughts?

Looks like you solved it (Adblock again)?
Yes, luckily. That was annoying.

I bet.
Don't know what's the problem this time, but I have about a two second margin to copy a review to here until the writing box disappears. And then even if I try to edit it, I can't.
That's what my problem was, both times. (Most recently, yesterday.)
I tried it on a different browser - mozilla had some issues with the box but chrome was fine. I had adblock on mozilla but that wasn't a problem before..
I wish I had peeked in here more often.

Turning AdBlock off for this site appears to have corrected a lot of issues I was having.

Including speed, though that might just be a coincidence.

I never had a problem with AdBlock in FireFox either til recently.

I'm guessing a change in one of them.
They recently installed CloudFlare here, which doesn't seem to synch well with Adblock / Adblock + / Ghostery and a bunch of other filters of this sort.

Bookstooge posted his fix for the problem here: http://bookstooge.booklikes.com/post/1456385/psa-booklikes-firefox-and-adblocker-bff-s

It seems to be working for those who've had occasion to try it.
