back to group
I've noticed how depressed everyone sounds at F&G lately.
(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)
Observer isn't a very good observer. I use what I like on GRs (groups), I love Booklikes and I'll try out Leafmarks to see what I think. I also still use Amazon.

I don't understand why some people think you have to be all or nothing. I am perfectly comfortable using each site for what it offers me and not using what it does poorly (especially GRs for chickening out on what they set out to do).

These idiots are so black and white in their thinking. That's been their problem all along.

And I don't know what's sad about checking out and finding other sites that do what GRs used to do. It seems like common sense to me. Oh, right, that's another thing those bozos are lacking.
On the good ship
Shit for brains,
It's a fun trip
as we clean the drains!
Where the poos poos sway,
Through the 'U' bend down to Stinky Bay.
Just waiting for the inevitable "Badly Behaving Leafmarkers" list to appear.

So much Butthurt, so little time.
On the good ship
BBA,
It's a fun trip
As we scream and rave
About low reviews,
You must love me
and my garbage too.

(finding somethin to rhyme with review is not easy.)
I love those poems!

Oh, now, that was brilliant. The last two lines are pure gold. :-)

Post #486: I agree, it's only a matter of time. We should run a poll. Whoever guesses the right date, or closest to, wins a prize. ;-)

Brilliant songs!
Hey, we have some happy holiday news!!!! Hawkaloogie is rewriting that goblin book of hers!!! I guess all those bad reviews finally served as the wakeup call she needed.

(hide spoiler) We wanted to share a message we received from a source. While unable to prove what this person claims, they’ve never steered us wrong before.

Okay, so according to this source, a BBA we profiled recently was part of a scam to gain access to the WIN group on FB. As a recap, WIN is a private group created by Rick Carufel then “stolen” by Signore Puke. As we all know, the asshats have been babbling about lawsuits for months and claiming they have something in the works. One would assume this planning takes place in WIN.

Apparently, this author we profiled contacted someone at a particular book categorizing site or knew someone there. Either way, she made a deal to help them get info from WIN. We don’t know what she gets in return.

So this author proceeded to do the BBA checklist. Whining in public forums, writing angry blogs about mean readers, and commenting on the negative review, she did everything possible to get our attention. It worked and we profiled her here and on the blog. Her books were shelved, a few readers one starred them, and she acted all shocked while playing innocent. Seems like every BBA before her, right?

Well, her little plan was a success and she was recently admitted in the WIN group.

We obviously don’t care if this author is working with anyone. She still attacked readers and is a BBA. There’s plenty of evidence that she was a BBA prior to any deal she made. We also don’t care if she hurts WIN. None of that is our problem.

We just want everyone to be aware how different factions are using this public thread to push their agendas. Much like Pissface freaks out about everything we write or Asshole92X stalks the thread for shit to whine about, others are watching too. Never forget this isn’t a private group.

Well, it's not like they're busy writing good books or anything, so..... ;-)

You hit that one RIGHT on the head, girl! :o)
Bruhaha, Rickydick is rolling again. He totally understands how sites like goofreads, or BookLikes works. Uploading a .csv file with 6000 books one has read, rated and reviewed over the years seems to be an alien concept for many. But fear not, trolls and bullies of the literary world, there is a solution: Rickydicks own pay-to-review site. Totally unbiased of course. *snort*

Hello everyone. Been missing you ladies. GR has been dead without you. I guess I'll have to start hanging out here more. Anyway, wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays!
