Email Lulu. They just said they had taken it down to evaluate it. That doesn't mean they can't put it back up. If there's no defamation, then they should put it back up.

You can't copyright a name and even if you could, that doesn't mean no one can talk about you. It means they couldn't make money off of you. Company names can be copyrighted, but people can still talk about their name and write about it.

It should also be noted how Rick's "book" Suffer a Troll or whatever it's called will name readers and authors. Oh, but it'll be different because he's fighting stalker trolls!

It's like how the BBA whine about our blog naming them in negative ways and they want Google to take it down. Uh, if Google takes Whisperer down, how many of these BBA can have their blogs taken down too? Their lack of brainpower is exhausting. :/

Do some readers abuse the system? Sure. Would they have read those books if they weren't going to return them? No. Authors aren't out any money. We actually have a better chance at making money because of Ammy's liberal return policy. How many readers would give a nobody a chance if they couldn't return the book if it sucked? Forget trying the sample. I've heard some authors have the first section edited to get sales.

Besides, if this chick wanted to make a point about the return policy, she could have done it without outing the reader. That's a BBA move. :/

The other thing is we don't know - the shelves don't allow us to type in all we want. It could be that a friend bought it and she's returned it to them. (I could easily see someone wanting to keep track of this, especially if they borrow as many as she does!)

Plus, I'm suspicious of that shelf. It seems a little too conspicuous to me, and Amazon has also deleted users for abusing the system. I doubt she's bought and returned over 800 books via Kindle without Amazon noticing and cutting her off!

The truth is that maybe she named that shelf for shits and giggles.

I wonder what author Phoenix thinks about buying books from used book stores - the author doesn't get a cut of the profits there either. I actually have read authors huff about that being stealing too.
