Are we still on for this buddy read to start Saturday?
I started this yesterday. It is so much fun. This has always been one of my favourite Holmes stories.
What is striking me on this particular read is how weird Dr. Mortimer is.
I finished chapter 7 and I´m really liking it so far. All of the characters are quite excentric (with the exception of Dr. Watson, of course). The mystery around the hound is intriguing but ... what is up with Henry Baskervilles boots? I have to be honest, I´m more interested in the boots rigth now than the hound ;).

The boots... hehehe. No spoilers. ;-)
I'm just getting ready to pick it back up at chapter 7, braced for patience with Watson. ;)
Why am I still surpised about what has happened at the end of chapter 11? It´s not like Arthur Conan Doyle has pulled of something similar in the last two books I have read. Yet he gets me every time.

Hehe. FWIW, Chapter 12 is my favourite. ;)

Chapter 12 has been great.
(hide spoiler) I actually expected the worst for one moment.(show spoiler)
I started this last night.
Are we using a common tag on updates/reviews?
I haven't gotten an answer on this, but I've seen "Hound of the Baskervilles" used.
I'm using "Hound of the Baskervilles", "buddy read", and "halloween bingo 2016".

They don't seem to show on the book club page. I guess it requires that we would need to use the same edition as in the book club?
No, it shouldn't require the same edition for the posts to show up. The editions do need to be linked (so that the books are listed as editions of each other). The book progress is only shown if the edition is the same though.

Follow-up: the edition that got added to the book club was an orphan. I've requested that the librarians link it to the 630 other editions so that posts using any of those editions should show up.
