It'll be like Christmas all week :-) I'm excited to read them

I will definitely take a picture. Just found out my mom was admitted to the hospital for the same things again so I'm seeing if she wants company and putting off all the extra pics for now.

So glad you got the box and those cups stayed in one piece. My daughter and I had a blast picking stuff out during the after holiday sales. The book comes courtesy of the Friends of the Brandon Library sale rack. I'm really glad I picked that tin over the other design - your parents' story was great!

As requested, the blanket. And you see a Transformers pillowcase - Bee on one side, Prime on the other, as well as a bit of a Barricade themed blanket I knit myself. (The Bee blanket hid, I guess.) So, also, I am fairly sensitive to what I want up against my skin. Any blanket that I use right on skin, even if it's only touching my arms or legs? I need it to be soft and snuggly. I've been using a Bee colored faux fur cut because it's the softest thing I've found. This blanket is now the 'prime' blanket, i.e. the one that touches skin because it's softer. (And I know this is a me thing: I've always been sensitive to fabrics in particular. Not so much that I can't do most things, but just enough that I carefully choose what I want to have in direct contact. For sleeping, I usually use a tank and shorts so more skin is exposed. Not in a 'ew, gross, naked' way but in a 'I have to be more careful about what I put as the 'prime' blanket. This one. This one all the way! It's huge, it's snugly and I love it the most of all my blankets including hand knit ones since it's the most comfortable against my skin. I resent having to get out of bed because it's cold. And now because I don't get to have contact with this blanket anymore...)

As promised, a photo of the mug up close. I love, love, love this mug. I've been using it for coffee, for water, for everything today :D

Thanks ... it's great.

Just aesthetically, it's one of the nicer fleeces I've seen. I'd show you how soft it feels, but that's kinda hard! And I agree: it's my favorite blanket right now.
I received my Cozy Box today - all the way from Australia - I think that is the furthest place I have ever received mail from. I loved everything. I'm looking forward to trying the coffee this morning and, of course, I had to try one of the chocolates as soon as I was done taking the pic. YUMMY!! The calendar book marks are such a great idea ... I always have a book with me and never have a calendar ... now I can be prepared. The homemade heart bookmark is super cute. And the book - what a good choice - I've heard of it but have not read it yet so am really looking forward to that. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I love all of it.

I'm so glad you got it and it all arrived in tact grimlock. My little girl helped me pick most of it out, when she found out it was for someone who liked comics she had to help.

She has amazing taste. I am absolutely obsessed with this blanket and how soft it is :D
Sorry I've been MIA guys. Thank you for sharing pics of all your goodies and much love to everyone for their amazing thoughtfulness in what they picked out! I needed to read this thread today
Tea, Rain, Book just FYI that your box went out on the 10th (because I fail at remembering to bring the address with me the first time). I don't know how long it takes for things to travel to APO addresses, but know that it's in transit! I hope it gets there soon!

I will check tomorrow...usually takes about 7 to 12 days to get here, depending on where the package is originating from within the US. Thanks.

YAY!!! Did the chocolates arrive ok? I had dread imaginings of them all being a melted lump by the time they got over the equator into the Northern Hemisphere! You might have noticed some paranoid over-wrapping going on. :)

I'm so glad you like the book; it immediately came to mind when I thought of the cozy theme, but then wasn't sure if you'd read it or not. Figured I'd take a chance since I didn't see it on your shelves. :)

(I also realised after coloring/writing the postcard that I didn't sign it - doh! So, in case it wasn't already obvious, lol, it's from me. :D )

That's funny because I did think to myself about how well wrapped it was. I definitely had to pull out the scissors. I wasn't going to mention anything but since you asked one of the chocolates had a little leakage. It was mint and I think it had more mint than chocolate so it softened a little. Dark chocolate is pretty resilient so that was a good choice. Milk chocolate may not have survived the trip LOL. The coffee is great ... and yes ... medium grind is perfect. Thank you again.
