Alright ladies and gents, it's time for our next swap! Stay tuned for the details (since I failed and left them on my computer at home) and we'll start doing sign ups tomorrow!

I'm pretty darn excited for this one. :D
Yay! I am also excited! I've already grabbed a few things my swappee!

I am
Also
Super excited.
The timing of this is perfect for me!

And my phone is turning this into some
Kind
Of weird haiku...
Bahahahaha Grim! Excellent on the spot poetry.

I'm working on the last details. Give me 20 and I'll post this :).

Okay, here are the details!!!

The following items are required in your package:

* One nature themed item! Think wood, seeds, flowers, etc.
* One delicious spring time beverage. What's your favorite thing to sip on a spring day?
* One thing that is picnic themed. (I'm excited to see what you come up with!)
* One book of your choice, that channels spring!
* A note to your lovely swap partner.

Money Limit:

Your box must contain items that add up to at least $20. Anything beyond that is your own personal choice, if you'd like to add extras. You may also add items that are not on the theme list if you so choose!

* Some helpful hints:
- Check out dollar stores. You can get lots of fantastic and fun items there!
- Shop the dollar spot at local stores like Target or Walmart.
- Go thrift store hunting. This is perfectly okay! Just make sure the item is in good condition. (A good rule of thumb is to think, "Would I want to receive this?")
- Re-gift something of yours (in good condition of course) that you think fits the box.
- Make something. It's cool to include something handmade. Again, just make sure it's something you'd like to receive yourself.

Shipping Information:

This swap is open to all members. All delivery confirmation numbers must be in no later than March 31st. This also means your box should be shipped no later than this date. You must procure a delivery confirmation number when sending your package, and include it in the form located here. No delivery confirmation means you won't be eligible for future swaps.

Ready to join in?

Fill out THIS FORM completely to sign up.

I'll match you with a swapping buddy and send out information as to who you will be mailing to. Please know I try to keep this a surprise, so you won't know who is mailing to you unless you specifically ask.

***Sign ups will be open until March 17th***

Late sign ups will not be accepted. I need that time to match people up and still give you ample time to go and do some shopping!

REMEMBER:

If you sign up, your are promising to send a package. Please make sure you can follow through! I never want anyone to end up without a box. Thanks!

I don't have the patience to correct the phone.

Aaaand signed up. I've managed to send all the boxes on time so far, so I think I'll be fine.
Yay! Signed up!
Done! I'm excited to join in.

Welcome! We're happy to have you here! I'm so excited about this one!
This sounds like a gorgeous swap! I am, though, going to sit this one out. The land Down Under is also the land of "don't you dare bring anything here that used to grow or might grow again", so it makes this theme a bit iffy and more challenging for my poor swapee than they deserve.

But I can't wait to see what everyone gets, and I'll be in for the next one. :)

MbD, nature themed item doesn't have to be actual seeds or wood. It could be, but a journal made from pulp - I've seen gorgeous that are less than ten bucks at B&N - could be shipped from a store within their country. (Or Australia. I don't know how strict shipping is as far as journals that use plant-based journals. I'm thinking of this: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/home-gift-green-lotka-handmade-nepal-journal/22142269?ean=9780641966682 where the cover and inside are made from leaves, I believe.)
Yup MDB! Grim is totally correct. It can even be a woodmark (wooden bookmark) or one of those really cool prints done with found items. It's all up for interpretation!
Believe it or not - no, they would not let that in. (It's gorgeous, btw.) Australia has the world's most draconian laws when it comes to what can pass their borders (actually NZ *might* be worse).

As an example, when you arrive in AU and go to collect your luggage at customs, you are greeted by sniffer dogs trained to look for ANY food/plant items on your person and/or luggage. Not even the airline packet of nuts are allowed in.

Handmade papers with leaves, twigs or seeds are a no-no. I can't even bring Old Bay seasoning or Good Seasons salad dressing packets in because they contain seeds that might not be ground completely up (celery and mustard).

I'd hate for anyone to go stress over this, not to mention how awful I'd feel if anything got turned back at customs. I'm totally ok with watching from the sidelines on this one and enjoying it vicariously. :)

Fair enough. Sorry to hear that.

I don't know if buying something like the woodworks Jessica mentioned off a US/non-Austrialian website and sending them directly from there, and separately, might be feasible?

Of course, it might just be enough work for you to say 'screw it.' I have those days, so there's that. Otherwise, I hope you get a ton of vicarious enjoyment!
Hand to heaven I just found this on the website's list of prohibited and restricted items:

"Erasers (novelty): Erasers resembling food in scent or appearance."

Apparently it can't even LOOK like food...
