Hah. Turns out I'd already voted for Furry Logic (talk about a sieve for a brain)! Ditto, now, The Inner Life of Cats ... after I'd already added Herding Hemingway's Cats, in turn. Could it be we have a bit of a feline theme going this time around? (And I know that Hemingway's Cats is about genetics, not cats specifically. Still ...)
*prod* *prod* "Reminder" to select the next book please.
Looks like we have a clear winner ... (meaow).

It does. :)
Duly prodded - will do it this afternoon after the mundane RL household stuff. :P
Um... when do we get to nominate books for March? I've just run across a few titles that sound interesting.

I have cleared the old list. So, you should be able to add new suggestions. I'll put together a "New Vote" post tonight.
Great! Thanks. I will add books tomorrow. I'm packing up for the day.
I've some but looks like have to first add them to booklikes before can add to nominees.
Has anyone taken a look at the nomination list since yesterday? There are a whole lot of history books on there.

E.G
-Mesopotamia: The Invention of the City by Gwendolyn Leick
-The Good Girls Revolt: How the Women of Newsweek Sued their Bosses and Changed the Workplace by Lynn Povich
-The Butchering Art: Joseph Lister's Quest to Transform the Grisly World of Victorian Medicine by Lindsey Fitzharris
- Paperback Crush: The Totally Radical History Of 80’s and 90’s Teen Fiction by Gabrielle Moss
- Black Flags, Blue Waters: The Epic History of America's Most Notorious Pirates by Eric Jay Dolin
- Rage Becomes Her by Saraya Chemaly
- Astounding: John W. Campbell, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard, and the Golden Age of Science Fiction by Alec Nevala-Lee

Even the other two books on there are more history than science.

WTF!!!

Yeah, I saw that when I went to see if you had posted any of your suggestions and was confused. I mean, they didn't sound like the things you'd usually suggest....

I mean the only one in that list that sort of follows the guidelines is The Butchering Art, maybe.
Re: The Butchering Art - sounds interesting, also sounds more history... and I suspect rather gory.

I haven't posted any books yet. I was going to then saw all the funny stuff. I'll add my science suggestions just now. Just have to make a list first then cull it. ;)
Yeah, I agree it's more history, but it's at least more on the medicine side? I think. I'm just working off the title.
Well, leave Butchering Art book on the list, but can you please (pretty pretty please) delete the rest of the history books? Unless you want to turn this into a general nonfiction book club?
No, I'll remove them. I agree, they do not belong on the list.
Need help?
